Dagos tabi kamo sa Tata Rock 4710! The house draws inspiration from Brutalist architecture—its form and texture echoing the greyish-white sands of Buenavista Beach. Many of the pieces you’ll find here were lovingly repurposed from our grandparents’ ancestral homes and our family house in Pinontingan. In our effort to live more sustainably, we sourced most furnishings from local artisans, secondhand markets, surplus stores, and even junk shops, each item carrying its own story and charm. The space To help you prepare with your visit, please take note of the following features of our listing: - 3 air-conditioned bedrooms: 1 suite room with queen size bed; bedroom #2 with queen size bed; bedroom #3 with two full double size beds - 1 aircon study/work room - 2 toilets with bidet and baths with hot shower - dipping tub with water heater - hair dryer - towels - dining table for 8 persons - full kitchen with stove, microwave, refrigerator, and rice cooker. Plates, utensils, pots, and pans are available - hot and cold water dispenser - coffeemaker, French press - juicer, blender - grill - PLDT wifi - Netflix and Cignal cable - water tank - outdoor shower - flat iron/ironing board Parking: Our front yard can accommodate up to three (3) small vehicles. Additionally, one (1) vehicle may be parked at the back of the house. Guest access Guests have full access to the entire house. Other things to note Safety 1. Swimming and surfing. The beach of Buenavista is ideal for surfing. For swimming, please always seek the advice of locals or surfers where the safest area to swim is as there may be rip current. You may also ask guidance from the person on duty at the entrance of Lola Sayong. We also discourage night swimming. 2. Falling coconuts. Beware of falling coconuts and tree limbs around the area. 3. First aid kit. A first aid kit is available inside the first aid box below the staircase. Other Information 1. Power Interruption: Occasional power interruptions occur. Currently, we don’t have a generator set and this might affect the water supply as the water pump is dependent on electricity. Emergency lights are installed around the house. 2. Ongoing works: We are a work in progress. There are still some construction ongoing as we improve our facility and its amenities. 3. Access to grocery and other essential items: We recommend purchasing and bringing essential supplies—such as groceries, charcoal, spices, and other necessities—prior to your arrival. While sari-sari stores along the main road offer basic goods, their inventory may be limited. A 7-Eleven convenience store located approximately three kilometers from the listing operates 24/7 and provides a wider selection. Additionally, the public market, also three kilometers away, offers fresh produce and other essentials but typically closes by 6:00 PM.
