Enjoy the starry nights around the firepit during a clear night. Many great hiking trails and outdoor activities, access to the community lake & picnic area, 8 minutes drive to the entrance of Mt. Rainier National Park. This is your getaway! The home has 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and is 1,478 sqft. It is a two story house with a steep slope driveway and staircase to reach the front entrance. **LAYOUT** First floor - the entrance way opens to the kitchen, living room, dining room, full bathroom with laundry. Portable AC is installed; Second floor - This floor has three bedrooms. Master bedroom (King bed with ensuite full bath), Queen bedroom, Kids room (bunk beds with one full bed, one single bed and another single pull out at the bottom). Queen bedroom and kids room need to share the full bath downstairs. Portable AC is installed. **Home Highlights** - Remodeled kitchen and wooden floors - Air Conditioning on both floors - well-stocked kitchen. Both ground coffee machine and Keurig are provided, together with an array of coffee pods and teas. Cooking utensils such as slow cooker, toaster, pots and pans, are provided; - New Washer & Dryer on ground floor - Fully fenced front yard - Huge garage for RV parking - Quiet and cozy cul-de-sac **Additional information about the house** -The home has a steep gravel driveway that might be too slippery to drive up during winter weather. You are welcome to park at the bottom of the driveway which is very private and without through traffic. - There are 12 stairs from the fence gate to the front entrance. If you have difficulty climbing stairs, this is not a good choice. - The home is not child-proofed. Please do not leave children unattended. - Please be aware that the upper bathroom is suited inside the master bedroom. The queen bedroom and kids room need to share the downstair bathroom. - There is no hot tub. - CenturyLink is the internet company. Since this is a remote area, Internet and wifi may get intermittent under certain circumstances which are out of our control (severe weather, malfunction of internet company, etc.). Please be prepared to unplug yourself and enjoy the natural beauty. **Nearby attractions** - Nisqually Entrance of Mount Rainier National Park, which is open year around, just 5 miles away; - Close to Nisqually river, Alder Lake, Mineral Lake, Mt Tahoma trails, Elbe and Eatonville Guest access Guests will have access to the entire place. A unique smart lock code will be provided one day before your arrival. Self entry. A unique code for the smart lock will be sent one day before the check in. *check in/Check out* - Check in is 4pm, check out is 11am. These check in/out times are critical for our cleaners to totally turnover the home from top to bottom between guests. In some circumstances we may allow early check-in/late check-out, but this must be mutually agreed upon by the host and guest. Failure to checkout by the agreed upon time may result in a late checkout fee, as this may affect the cleaning schedule and the next reservation arriving at their expected time. Other things to note -This is a pet friendly home but kindly refrain from allowing pets on furniture/linens including couches, throws, beds, pillows, and towels. Please do not leave pets unattended; please bring poop bags and pick up after your pets. - Strictly NO parties and events, quiet hours between 10pm-8am - No smoking or vaping of any kind anywhere on the property including outdoor areas, no digital piracy, no shoes in the home. $500 fine per violation. - Use of fire pit and charcoal grill are prohibited during the burn ban. To check burn ban info, please check the Ashford Fire Station website. - The closest grocery store is Ashford Valley Grocery but fresh produce is limited. The closest general store is Suver's General Store. Both are located 5 minutes from the house. Both places also sell fire logs if you want to pick up a bundle for the fire pit. - Power Outrages are quite common in Ashford during heavy rain or winter storm. Flash light is provided, but no power station. No refund is provided for power outrage, or weather related issues that are out of our control. Please consider buying travel insurance to enjoy a worry free trip. - We reserve the right to charge the guest for any extra cleaning and/or any damage done to the property by the guest, including but not limited to: permanent stain on bedding linens, towels, furniture, failure of following house rules, and unfollowed checkout instructions.
