Enjoy a relaxing break in the heart of the beautiful Pewsey Vale. The Little Forge is set on a quiet lane at the edge of the friendly village of Pewsey, in an area of outstanding natural beauty. Enjoy countryside walks in the beautiful surroundings or explore the mystical Avebury, the market town of Marlborough or the pretty villages along the Kennet and Avon Canal. At the end of the day cozy up in front of the log burner or spend the evening in one of the local pubs or restaurants. The space The cottage has three rooms, a lovely open plan well equipped kitchen with lots of storage, fridge freezer, toaster and kettle, washer dryer and electric Aga opening onto the lounge with a comfy sofa, large TV and log burner. The bedroom is accessed from the lounge and contains a king size bed with a hybrid mattress, large wardrobe and dressing mirror. Naturally quality bedding is provided. At the other end of the cottage is the bathroom with freestanding bath, WC, sink and heated towel rail. Towels are included along with shower gel, shampoo and conditioner. All rooms have electric heating with controls in the lounge and bedroom. WiFi is included with speeds on around 70Mbps, more than enough to support video conferencing giving you the option to work from the cottage. Outside is a small eating area, enclosed but open to the lane. The parking area is private but a bit tight, the lane has lots of parking if you need it. The closest pub is a 2 minute walk and the centre of the village can be reached in around 5 minutes. If you continue along the lane there are a number of footpaths leading up onto the hills or along the valley. Guest access Guest have access to the entire property except the loft space. Other things to note Well behaved dogs are welcome, please let us know if you intend to bring your furry friend. Please note dogs are not allowed on the bed, chairs or sofa. We don't provide a dog bed as most dogs prefer their own!
