Sunnyside Sweet Spot!

Update June 2026: new furniture for the living room and dining room is on the way. And a new TV! New photos will be posted by early June. My one bedroom apartment is available for stays of 30 days or more this summer from June to August. Please contact me to discuss dates beyond August. It is available fully furnished with everything you need for a comfortable stay. The space The apartment includes a bedroom, bathroom, living room, kitchen, and dining room. It is one of four apartments in a house built in 1890. As an older building, the house has some quirks, so it's a good fit for those who don't mind that sort of vintage character. The apartment has been recently repainted and there are wood floors throughout, with tile floor in the bathroom and linoleum in the kitchen. The apartment is heated by a gas heating stove in the living room and it gets quite toasty for the winter months. The bedroom has a queen-sized bed with a one year old, firm mattress (a mattress protector keeps it nice!), nightstand, dresser, and a small closet. Please note that the bedroom is small, so the bed is against the wall on two sides. That is, you either have to climb over each other or get in and out from the foot end of the bed if there are two people sleeping in it. Brand new, organic cotton bed linens will be provided for your stay. There is a daybed in the living room that serves a double function as a couch and a twin size bed. The mattress on the daybed is a nice quality and there are linens and bedding available to make up the day bed for sleeping as needed. The bathroom has a deep bathtub with a shower. Please note that the threshold for the bathtub is about 18 inches. There is a small wooden stool in the bathroom if you need a boost stepping in and out of the bathtub. Towels and washcloths are provided. The dining room has a small table that seats four. The galley style kitchen has newer appliances, including an air fryer/toaster oven, full-size stove and oven, and full-size fridge and freezer. There is a microwave. The kitchen is full of all the basics that you will need for basic cooking, including dishes, etc. There is an apartment sized Schwinn elliptical training machine in the dining room area that is available for your use. There is a desk in the living room and a standing computer station is available for the top of the desk. Laundry is included in the monthly rental fee. The washer and dryer are located downstairs on the main floor of the house. Unfortunately, this apartment does not have good accessibility for those with mobility limitations - it is on the second floor and the bathtub has an 18" threshold. Guest access Guests have access to the entire apartment. The apartment is located upstairs (second floor) in a house that has three apartments in it. Access is through a common, locked front door and a second locked door to the apartment itself. Other things to note Free, on street parking is readily available in front of the house. This is a low traffic, residential neighborhood.
