Tawny Bell, sleeps 5, secluded woodland setting

Reconnect with nature at this special place. Tawny Bell sits within 17 acres of woodland, on a farm in rural Herefordshire, within the Wye valley AONB, not far from the river Wye. It is part of Woodland Tipi & Yurt Holidays; a family run Glamping site, offering 5 yurts, and 3 bell tents, with fantastic facilities, & gorgeous surroundings. Ideal for families; kids can run wild, & safely enjoy back to basics fun in nature, whilst having all the little luxuries for a relaxing stay! Sleeps up to 5. The space The glampsite is a children's haven, with the freedom for little ones to play and explore while the adults relax. Tawny has a particularly secluded aspect, with its outside space looking into the woods, with direct access to the ancient woods, & carpets of bluebells in the spring. In this magical, safe, natural space, families can enjoy the simple things - nature, the stars, waking up to birdsong, walking, bike riding, animal spotting, exploring, den making, collecting wood for the fire, toasting marshmallows, and cooking outside. It can also be a romantic space for couples to enjoy, or for friends to enjoy a quiet rural retreat. Each tent is furnished with a woodburning stove, simple furniture, lots of soft rugs, cushions, and some bedding (you are required to bring your own linen), and with all the extra touches, such as flowers, fairy lights, hot water bottles, firewood, lanterns and tea lights, you are sure to be comfortable, relaxed and warm. You will have your own composting toilet nearby. Hot showers, covered places to sit and eat, and a kitchen area are not far away. The kitchen is shared with 3 other tents, and has everything you need for a self catering stay, including pots and pans, crockery and cutlery, fridges, ovens, and electrical charging points. Eat your food at the table in the kitchen, or under one of the awnings nearby. The tents are all 'off-grid', but the kitchen and shower blocks have electricity. Please note, there is NO WiFi anywhere. Outside each tent you'll find a private area with your own hammock, picnic bench, firepit, trivet and a BBQ so you can cook outside and experience the true off-grid camping experience, and toast those "essential' marshmallows. Or fire up the pizza oven in The Bakehouse, and make your own wood-fired pizzas - fun for all the family! The 2 wood-fired hot tubs are available for all guests to book at an extra cost (see photo for more info). We also make our own cider, white wine, and sparkling white wine which can be purchased onsite via Mark. **The woodland has such a magical feel to it. As soon as you enter you'll leave your worries behind, and start to relax!** Set up 18 years ago by Julia Sanders, her brother Mark, and parents Bryn and Jenny, many guests have enjoyed the tranquil setting, and beautiful tents over those years, as it has grown and adapted. Julia has now decided to move on, so Annabel (Mark's partner) has joined the team, and we hope to continue to share the wonderful site with many more guests for years to come. We pride ourselves on running the campsite in a sustainable and eco-conscious way. Guest access Guests are free to explore the surrounding woodland, and adjoining valley, but please respect the marked private areas on the farm. Other things to note There is an extra fee to use the hot tub. **see photo for costs** Cars are not permitted onto the campsite, so there is a short walk to the tent, about 3-4 minutes walk to Tawny, which is at the Southern end. Wheelbarrows are provided, or Mark can ferry your luggage in his quad and trailer.
