Situated in the heart of the small & picturesque medieval border town of Knighton, this pretty half-timbered cottage is Grade II listed, built in 1678 or possibly a century or two earlier & retaining many original features, including oak beams throughout. Downstairs are a lounge with log burner & a kitchen with dining table & chairs. Upstairs are the bathroom, a double bedroom to the rear & twin bedroom to the front. There is a cellar below the cottage which is useful for secure cycle storage. Guest access Access is usually by key safe but all guests will be given the host’s mobile number. Other things to note Steep steps up to the front door & down to the cellar, also indoors on the narrow staircase to the first floor (bedrooms & bathroom) so may not be suitable for guests with mobility issues.
