The space Location: Vista Caribe /ˈvistə ˈkerəˌbā/, Spanish for Caribbean View, is a beautiful condo located on Isleta Marina, a private island located just about a mile off the east coast of Puerto Rico, in the town of Fajardo. This is an ideal location, conveniently close to the famous eastern beaches and short drive to the top tourist locations including El Yunque, Culebra and Vieques Islands and Luquillo. The space is perfect for a couple, friends or a small family to disconnect from daily chores on a private island and still have full access to everything Eastern Puerto Rico has to offer. Guests have full access to 2 pools, basketball & volleyball courts w. 24/7 security. Please inquire about beach. You will be in the ocean, it is between a beach and a tidal pool, water access nonetheless, just not a sandy beach. Pool is best for swimming and the tidal pools are best for hanging out with family and friends. The Space: This serene space is on the 7th Floor and it faces south, overlooking The Marina and the beautiful and warm Caribbean sea. Yes...there is an elevator! Take a five minute ferry to the island, where you'll be surrounded by ocean vistas. Enjoy your morning brew and ocean sounds from the cozy balcony or pick up some local food and drinks at the Harbor Cafe (Open Thursday to Monday 10am to 10pm. Hours may change) off the ferry dock, book a snorkeling, fishing, or scuba diving charter to adjacent sites or plan a trip to Vieques or Culebra islands. Visit Las Croabas and enjoy some fresh seafood or perhaps drive a few minutes to Seven Seas, a quiet public beach popular for swimming, snorkeling and Paddle boarding. PLEASE NOTE: 1. Our rental agreement includes a no tolerance policy regarding excessive noise, occupancy and/or parties. Deposit forfeitures and/or evictions are strictly enforced. Please make sure you are comfortable with these policies before renting. 2. A car is necessary if you want to enjoy everything in the surrounding area. The best part of a remote island is the seclusion, but you may also want to visit local attractions. A private pay-to-park lot is available across the street from the Ferry pick up area. Street parking is limited but also available. Accommodations: Bedroom: Two full size beds, glass sliding doors with direct balcony access, a desk, TV, and air conditioner. You will have plenty of room to relax and sleep. Bathroom: Full bathroom with towels (including beach towels) and complimentary toiletries for your stay. Kitchen: Equipped with essential appliances and utensils to cook and enjoy an intimate meal with a private ocean view. Living Room: Unwind after a long day in the sun. Equipped with sleeper sofa, TV w/cable and glass sliding door with direct access to the balcony. Other things to note *The complex will be conducting done renovations and painting Tower 1 between October and December. The work should not impact the unit itself, but there may be some water or light debris in the balcony. Please excuse us! Ferry Times: Sunday-Thursday 600am-10pm Friday-Saturday 600am-11pm (Arriving one hour prior to last ferry is standard protocol for residents and guests. Captain for ferry is available during off hours but for emergencies only)
