Relax in this calm classic Venice space. This is a lovely home in the Penmar family neighborhood in Venice across from Penmar Park. This is east of Lincoln Boulevard - 12 blocks to beach. Great light, central air, and awesome WIFI. The house is stocked with everything. Comfortable beds. Perfect for a family getaway to the quiet part of Venice. About a 15 minute walk to the beach. Near Whole Foods. Easy access to the restaurant scene on Abbott Kinney. Super close to nine hole golf course The space This is a warm home in East Venice - with many renovations. New floors, New windows and doors. Central A/C and heat. Pool Heater. This is the family neighborhood. The pool area has to be quiet by 10 pm. This is perhaps the most important thing to know before you seek to book this house. The pool area closes at 10 pm. The pool is heated from May 1 to September 30. For months outside this time period, we charge an additional $45 a day to heat the pool. There is a minimum of $150 regardless of the number of days. This home is for families. If you are gathering with your friends for some celebration or weekend away and stay up late - this may not be the best fit for you. One block from a lovely nine hole golf course. Easy to get to the beach. Rent a surfboard and take a lesson. Parking is easy. Friday nights at Penmar are worth a visit for food and live music. While a bit dated. the kitchen is huge and a fun place to make dinner. Two refrigerators. Great table for games like monopoly and Jenga. Two bedrooms on first floor. There is a second floor which consists of a bedroom with bunk beds and full bath. Great for kids. There is a private guest house in the back with its own private entrance. There are no common walls or windows. The owner lives in the guest house and can be available to assist as needed. Gardener at 7:00 am on Mondays and Pool Guy at 7:30 am on Wednesdays. Guest access The main house and pool area are for the guests. Other things to note Hello - If you will stay longer than a week, there are additional cleaning fees. We clean the house once a week.
