Stanage is a picturesque beach town, ideal for swimming, fishing, crabbing and chilling out. The area is secluded with a convenience store/takeaway, petrol station, pub, fishing/tackle store and stunning sea views. "Bay House" has on its doorstep, the beautiful Alligator Bay. This beach is a turtle rookery. Baby turtles can be seen on the beach each January when they hatch and head for the water.
