Clara Vista-Waterfront Home, Pier, Deep Water Slip

Take it easy at this unique, tranquil getaway! Clara Vista overlooks a bend of Davis Canal, with its salt marsh and winding channels. Try spotting the various birds wading at creek edge or dolphins feeding. Moor your boat on the dock and enjoy some of the best fishing on the island from your private pier! Your vacation home is the top floor of a duplex , with 3 bedrooms , 2 bathrooms, full kitchen, open dining/living room, outdoor shower, fire pit, outdoor grill and a large front porch. The space Clara Vista is a great vacation spot for friends and family, no matter the season! Located on Davis Canal, Clara Vista has a private pier with a deep water slip and is close to the inlet and the intracoastal waterway, a perk for boaters and for those who love fall fishing. The surf and a commercial pier are also only a short distance away. The apartment consists of the entire 2nd floor of Clara Vista, accessible by 2 outside staircases with a covered stoop on the side entrance, a porch on the canal side (or front) entrance. The inside staircase, leading to the downstairs apartment will be locked on both sides, for privacy. The three bedrooms, two baths, living area, kitchen and dining area are located in a 1280 foot space. Extra living space is available on the front porch, spanning the entire width of the house (350 sq feet). A small landing or deck is located midway down the front flight of stairs and has built in seating. The porch has several rockers, a hammock and a picnic table with bench seats. There is also built in seating on a deck on the pier - a great place to try your luck at fishing, crabbing, getting bait, or just enjoying the water and wildlife. Kayaks are available to use, along with Mae West type life jackets. A beach cart, chairs, towels and coolers are also provided. In addition you are welcome to use the outside grill and picnic table. Guest access Guests have private access to the entire upstairs and are welcome to use the pier, front and back yards, the fire pit (back yard), driveway, etc. Cars can be parked in the driveway or along the side of the street. Your boat can be moored along the floating dock, which is also a great fishing spot. Other things to note Clara Vista was built by my parents, Lee and Marguerite Greer and lovingly cared for and updated by them and, now, by me. It rests in a peaceful setting, shaded by oaks and pines, with beautiful views of the salt marsh, yet with easy access to the beach itself. I always enjoy being there and come away much more relaxed.
