The Cargo Cottage tiny home getaway is designed to be a compact yet cozy retreat, blending functionality with comfort. It features a minimalist exterior, constructed from a repurposed shipping container, giving it a unique and sustainable appeal. Inside, expect a thoughtfully designed interior with multifunctional spaces that maximize every square foot. It comfortably sleeps 2 though has room for 4. The space The Cargo Cottage sits behind our 1940s farmhouse. If you've ever dreamed of experiencing the homestead life, we have a miniature jersey cow with her calf, tons of chickens, ducks, and turkeys. It's a great way to unwind and experience a slower pace of life. We are next door to a large dairy farm. And the views from the porch are of the mountains and the farm. The Cargo Cottage is ideal for family time and friend get-togethers or a getaway to the countryside. There is 1 bedroom with a queen bed and a futon couch in the living room. For your convenience the Cargo Cottage has a washer and dryer available to use. Our turkeys are very friendly and our Tom will likely follow you around and puff up his chest to show off his handsome feathers. Our roosters on the other hand are very protective of their hens. They are doing their job to protect the flock. There are also several barn cats that live in the garage to keep the mice at bay. Guest access The entire space! Feel free to walk around the property to see the animals. Watch out for the black and white rooster. He’s very protective of his ladies!
