The space This is an extremely private and isolated property and we are sure you will find it easy to enjoy this little piece of paradise and relax. We live on the property and this is attached to our home on 5 acres, but you can feel at ease knowing that you will have total privacy and feel like you are the only people in the world here on this quiet oasis. As for the suite, we hand milled wood from our trees and crafted every detail to create this special one of a kind space for your enjoyment. Situated on 5 acres of ocean front property, this is a space for all seasons, and has a lot to offer. Special note: This beautiful space was created for the comfort of either solo travellers or groups of 2 maximum, and cannot accommodate extra visitors during your stay. For liability reasons as well, only those who directly booked the space can be in the space. We appreciate you abiding by this rule. In winter, enjoy your private sauna and ocean views, watch a movie old school style from our expansive dvd library of films and tv series, and sleep deeply in your luxurious king sized bed. Enjoy the cozy space with heated natural stone floors throughout the main level. Covered space to bbq in all seasons if you like. In Summer, enjoy your ocean front deck and patio, bbq everyday and take out our SUP's or sit on kayaks right out front of your place, down the beach stairs. We have very good internet/wifi, but there is no access to streaming services (netflix or you tube etc. ) directly from your tv. You would have to bring a device for that. Find peace and tranquility here in this quiet, natural oasis and recharge. There is covered and uncovered patio space. Enjoy lots of privacy with your separate entry, sound proof walls, and strategic landscaping. Guest access You will have your own private suite, that is attached to our home and our other small rental suite also attached to our home. You will have total privacy and peace as the cottages are attached but with buffer rooms and a buffer breezeway, lots of space, and fencing and gardens in btwn. Separate entrance, with access around the side of the cottage that takes you to the garden and onto the beach access staircase. You are welcome to enjoy strolling though our small forest and down the steps to the isolated rocky beach for miles. You can also walk down our road all the way to the other side of the island, which is a beautiful nature walk, passing only the odd farmhouse and cabin, very quiet and peaceful. This is a good walk to take you to a west view to see the sunsets. Having a vehicle is a huge plus as you can then easily explore that rest of the island with all the beautiful nature trails and parks it has to offer. Having bicycles would also be a nice way to get around. Also, our cottage is a 5 min drive or 15 min bike ride to the Hornby Island Ferry so you can explore Hornby Island as well for day trips. Other things to note This space was created for two people maximum. Because of the size we apologize but we cannot allow guests to have extra people over visiting during their stay.
