It does not record audio of any kind. It simply monitors volume levels to help ensure a peaceful environment for all guests and to comply with local quiet-hour guidelines. Foot steps from the top apartment can be heard from this apartment. 🏊Pool and Maintenance Notes The pool is not heated. Lawn and pool maintenance teams may stop by on a weekly basis. They work only in outdoor areas and their visit is usually brief. We work hard to keep the pool and spa clean, safe, and fully operational for every guest. On rare occasions, they may need to close temporarily for maintenance, safety inspections, cleaning, weather, or unexpected repairs. While this is uncommon, guest safety always comes first. Temporary closures of the pool or spa for maintenance or safety reasons do not qualify for refunds or discounts. We appreciate your understanding should this occur during your stay. Climate Control & Cooling The apartment is equipped with a mini-split A/C and heating unit located in the living room. Most guests find the bedrooms stay comfortable by allowing air to circulate from the living area and using the ceiling fans and additional portable fans provided. San Diego evenings are typically cool, and opening the windows along with these features is usually sufficient to keep the bedrooms comfortable. Guests are responsible for replenishing their own consumables once the starter supplies are used. This includes items like toilet paper, paper towels, and toiletries. Early check-in or late check-out may be possible depending on the cleaning schedule. Feel free to ask us. Fees may apply. Please remember that this is a privately hosted home, not a hotel. We ask that you be respectful of the space. If anything comes up during your stay, message us and we will respond as quickly as we can, although no one lives on site full-time. We regularly update and improve the property, so you may notice new items or some differences from the photos. Profiles with an overall rating below 4.5 stars are not eligible for instant booking. If a reservation is confirmed automatically despite a low rating, it may be canceled. New accounts with no reviews will be reviewed manually and may require a short screening. Deposits may be required. **Before Your Stay:** To help ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone, guests are required to sign our standard Rental Agreement and Liability Waiver after the reservation is confirmed.
