GoldGelb Guest House – your retreat on the Mosel Opened in 2025, the GoldGelb guest house with its extensive garden and 10 x 5 meter natural swimming pond offers the perfect combination of relaxation and enjoyment of nature. With five spacious bedrooms, two bathrooms and a separate guest toilet, the two-story house is ideal for groups of up to 10 people or families. Privacy is preserved as there are no direct neighbors. The space The space Situated on a 1,000 m² plot, you can enjoy complete independence and privacy while experiencing the charming flair of the wine village of Ürzig – within walking distance. The outdoor area around the natural swimming pond invites you to relax with cozy seating. On the spacious 50 m² terrace you can enjoy the evening sunset with a glass of wine. Particularly noteworthy is the spacious living room, where all guests can sit at a table for social times. In winter, a cozy fireplace in the living room completes the comfort on cold days. The house is furnished with a lot of love for detail and extremely well equipped. The high-quality kitchen leaves nothing to be desired and is completely sorted. For your safety, digital smoke and carbon monoxide detectors are installed throughout the house. Fresh, ironed bedding and towels are professionally cleaned by a local textile cleaner before your stay. Please bring bath towels for the pool! Natural tranquility and activities in the surrounding area The untouched nature of the Middle Moselle offers families, friends and couples the ideal place to escape the stress of everyday life and relax amidst vineyards, forests and water. Whether hiking, cycling or a leisurely visit to the regional restaurants – the surroundings of Mosel, Eifel and Hunsrück have something for everyone. Just 200 m from the guest house, stages 11 and 12 of the Moselsteig start, which lead directly through the picturesque wine village of Ürzig and continue to Traben-Trarbach as well as Bernkastel-Kues and beyond. The nearby Ürzig DB train station makes it possible to comfortably explore further Moselsteig stages or bike paths towards Koblenz or Trier and return late in the evening. The natural swimming pond The natural swimming pond in the garden offers not only refreshment, but also a unique bathing experience. In contrast to conventional pools, chemical additives such as chlorine are dispensed with – cleaning is done via natural biological processes. So you can swim in pure, clear water and experience nature up close. A garden in harmony with nature The organic garden of the guest house was deliberately designed to be close to nature and does not use chemical agents. Here, a habitat for animals and plants is created that underlines the natural beauty of the environment. In the GoldGelb guest house, you will find excellent storage and charging facilities for bicycles and e-bikes. Motorcyclists are also welcome and can benefit from these offers. By arrangement, a spacious garage in the house can also be used for safe storage of motorcycles.
