The space On the PA/NJ border in The Lehigh Valley - Private Room with Shared Bathroom - This space is a nicely furnished bedroom about 11' x 11' (3.4m x 3.4m) 121 sq ft (11.56 sq m) located in the front of this house on the 2nd floor with a single twin size bed and hallway access to 1 shared bathroom. It is available for a 2 night minimum rental nightly, mid-week $31, weekend (Fri & Sat) $50, average weekly $217 or average monthly (28-31 nights) $868-$1,113 basis with a $25 cleaning fee ($15 for 1-2 nights) (a 3% Credit Card Fee, 6% PA Hotel Excise Tax and 5-18% Airbnb Guest Service Fee are added to these base rates). For long term multiple month housemate type rentals, I can offer a discounted rate of $800 after the first 30-31 nights are booked and completed on Airbnb. Rates include all utilities. This nice 4 bedroom home is on a quiet street on South Side Easton, PA. This home has 2 gay male hosts, so it is LGBT and Straight friendly. This room is great for local and international students, professors, interns or temp-workers as well as medical students doing clinical rotations and college post undergrad and graduate job seekers. I have lots of experience with all of these groups and can help them out with their first time experiences in the Lehigh Valley and America. Some previous guests have included domestic and international students and professors at Northampton Community College, Lehigh University, DeSales University, Moravian College and Lehigh Career & Technical Institute; domestic and international interns at Bakerly Barn, Albea / Al Can Packaging, Bristol-Myers Squibb, Lehigh Valley IronPigs baseball, Guardian Life Insurance, Linde Group industrial gases and engineering, Hydac USA, Sports Info Solutions, Mind of the Athlete, Marriott Corp, Crayola, Air Products & Chemicals and Lutron Electronics as well as a Physicians Assistant at Coordinated Health hospital, a few Traveling Physical Therapists at Praxis Alzheimer's Facility Nursing Home and Moravian Hall Square Retirement Living Community. I have had a few post MBA job seekers and doctors interviewing for the Residency Program at Easton Hospital and doctors completing residency at Lehigh Valley Hospital and St Luke's. For temp-jobs, I have hosted State Farm insurance adjusters in the area after Hurricane Sandy, the Earlusion vendor at Musikfest, a project manager at PPL, and an airplane mechanic at ABE airport to name a few. I have also hosted people moving for new jobs at local companies such as Exxon Mobil's Corporate Strategic Research (CSR) laboratory in Clinton, NJ and MCS Frames as well as other small companies. These rooms and home are for you if you consider yourself a neat, clean, responsible, respectful, well educated person with common sense that is detail oriented and active. If you do not fit into these categories, you will not be happy here and should keep looking. Seriously! You'll be held to these standards and asked to leave if unable to comply. There's 1 shared bathroom that you must keep clean as well as all other shared living areas. This is a drug free home and drugs will not be tolerated at all! There are no pets here and renters are not allowed to have any. This is a non-smoking home. Renters who do smoke, must do so outside where they can enjoy our large covered front porch or side deck. Cigarette butts must be disposed of properly and not left on the grounds around the property. Guests also have use of the other spaces; kitchen (newly remodeled in 2014 with stainless steel appliances), dining room, living room, laundry room (new Maytag front-load washer and dryer December 2014), basement for storage and small gym there (weight bench and stationary bike) as well as the large fenced yard. We also have a nice 28' x 28' vegetable garden in the summer. On street parking is plentiful on my street. My home is a short 4 block walk to the local LANTA bus stop for route #106 and #216 on St. John Street. Please see their website for full details. It is an easy 15-20 minute walk to Historic Downtown Easton where the main bus station is as well as shops, bars, art galleries and restaurants. See a great video on Easton, by going to YouTube and searching for "Select Easton". Buses are about 2 hours from Easton to New York City and Philadelphia. Lehigh Valley International Airport (ABE) is a 20 minute drive, Newark Airport is a 1 hour drive and Philadelphia Airport is 1 1/2 hours drive. I can show visitors new to the area around in the evenings and weekends. I go to bed around 11pm during the week and later on weekends. This is not a party house. Please be considerate.
