Everything is very simple, but in a beautiful natural environment, with the colonial architecture of the Classic Cuernavaca. The space It is a country house in the middle of the city, since we are adjacent to a protected natural area, which allows us to enjoy a lot of closeness to nature and observe firsthand the magic of the low deciduous forest and its inhabitants: More than 53 species of birds and mammals ranging from hummingbirds, woodpeckers, white-tailed hawks, yellow-headed parrots and imposing white owls, to raccoons, squirrels, and coatis. When you are in your garden, you are only surrounded by the imposing green of nature; you can hardly see the nearby houses, nor hear the city, since the sounds of nature predominate, such as the singing of birds and the movement of the leaves of the trees with the wind. Swimming in your pool or playing in your multipurpose pool (soon without mesh nets) gives us the feeling of doing it in the middle of the jungle. The incredible thing about this house is that you are in the middle of nature, but literally a few steps from the city center; just 450 meters from the Porfirio Díaz fountains and the famous Paseo de las Barrancas, you can easily walk to the Cathedral, the Palacio de Cortés, Plaza Cuernavaca, Museo del Papalote, even the archaeological zone of Teopanzolco and its famous theater. A house in Cuernavaca like this, attached to nature and with a green view (without fences or water tanks from the neighbor) is the equivalent of a beach house attached to the sea. Its architecture is very beautiful, corresponding to the classic Cuernavaca colonial style, which predominated in the 1930s and has been the location of a large number of films, video clips and commercials. However, we want to make it very clear that everything is very simple, it is not at all a luxury place, and it is a house that is designed so that everything takes place outside, so it does not have a dining room as such, but tables and plastic chairs in the garden under the shade of a beautiful tree. We love being great hosts, but we don't like dealing with difficult or complex people. We want to make it very clear that this is a very simple and very basic place, which is not suitable, nor is it up to the level of those who cannot travel without the Marriot bed, the Quinta Real tableware, the furniture of the St. Regis, etc... If that's your case, we recommend you please look for another place to match your great standard of living and enjoy it a lot! Likewise, if you don't like contact with nature, this is not an option for you either, because the trees throw leaves and they can fall into the pool, there are insects, there are birds, reptiles and mammals that can poop, the wind generates dust, heavy rain makes puddles in the grass, crickets and owls sing at night, etc... If this is your case, we cordially recommend that you better book a closed place, similar to what predominates in large cities. It is important to mention that although the interiors are periodically fumigated, we could never beat nature, since we are surrounded by it and our green walls are real, so you can find insects. The rooms have super mattresses and pillows, as well as the most economical spring air line; they are changed every 2 years, so don't expect the comfort of a good hotel bed. The kitchen is extremely basic and only has a very small fridge, large servibar type (we can lend you ice makers), stove, microwave and blender. The dishes and glasses are plastic and cheap (we do not allow the use of glass, for safety); the cookware and utensils are only the essentials and are not new. The pool does not have a heater; it is heated only by the sun, so its temperature depends on the climate. In winter we lower its water level to make it more pleasant. It is a house that is almost 100 years old, do not expect the modernity of a minimalist house, nor an impeccable state of preservation, because it is not a luxury boutique hacienda. And above all, please consider the price, because what you pay here for one night for 16 people is less than what you pay for one night for two people at the hotel closest to the house, which is "Las Mañanitas", just 700 meters away. The maximum capacity included in the AIRB&B price is 16 people, however we can accommodate up to 7 additional people paying $300.00 MN per night for each of them (additional bedrooms are opened to the 6 that are included in the price). In addition to the people staying, during their stay a maximum of 10 guests are allowed who can only be from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM paying $250.00 MN per day for each of them.
