Sofa can turn into a 160cm bed sofa for extra guests (recommended for staying is maximum 2 adults and 1 child). Everything you need for delicious meal preparations are provided in the small yet well equipped kitchen (besides freezer), and water from the tap is from our private well and is very clean and fresh for drinking. Bedroom has a comfortable continental double bed and projector with tablet connected to Amazon Prime for late home cinema evenings. On your private porch is the fully isolated outdoor shower (which keeps the warmth in) with hot running water, the sauna right beside (electrical which heats up within half an hour), a lounge area and an outdoor dining area, all mentioned with views over the spectacular sunsets. Own access to small outdoor grill and a portable pizza oven. On the other side of the porch is your "bathroom" with Cinderella incinerator toilet, the hot tub (add-on which can be booked in advance), hammocks and your own outdoor fireplace for cozy outdoor evenings. In the middle of the porch is your own jetty for fishing. You will have access to the 2-man kayak on the other jetty on the property for easier accessing the kayak into the water. Next to this dock is our trash can where you can dispose your main trash, which the trash boat picks up from every to every other week. At the very end of the peninsula, seen from this jetty, is our small private sandy beach (half is on the property and the other half belongs to the neighbors) which you will have full access to throughout your stay. The property start before the hill up, with apple trees and a large protected trampoline (up to 150kg) which is a fun way to get your blood circulation going. Other things to note Vårholma is an island without any stores, during low season I advice to bring all the groceries needed for your stay if your stay is less than 5 days. Most of the basics are provided in order to ensure you with a smoother check-in. During the summer groceries can be ordered online and delivered directly to the property's jetty for a fee. Water from tap is fresh and drinkable. Ferries depart on specific times, usually there will run two ferries per direction (two from Lillsved if travelling by car and two from Strömkajen in Stockholm), usually it's a morning ferry and an afternoon ferry. The ferry schedule changes per season (4 times a year). I am happy to help you find the best route with ferry times for check-in, whether it be you're travelling from Stockholm, Arlanda airport or if you're travelling by far. During the very coldest nights, it can happen that the outdoor shower freezes. If this happens, you will have access to the bathroom in the other cabin on the property (indoors) which has a bathtub. On very seldome occasions, when it's minus degrees for many days in a row, the tapwater in the cabin can freeze. If this happens, we will provide you with large water cansiters of drinking water. The toilet is an incinerator toilet (a common solution in the Archipelago where houses are mostly built upon rocks), it is very easy to use but the user manual must be followed accordingly. The user manual is provided under the house manual and should be read before check-in to ensure proper use. The sauna can be used any time throughout your stay. The hottub is an extra fee (we fill up with fresh sea water for every use and it takes 2 days to heat up) and can be used throughout your stay.
