Located just a 2-minute walk down a quiet, residential dead-end street to Bajuras Beach, this single-family home offers comfort, character, and unbeatable access to nature and coastline. Enjoy off-street parking and a fenced-in front yard, perfect for added privacy. Though we encourage savoring the ocean breeze by opening windows during cooler months we do have a/c throughout . Step outside to the newly added furnished patio—ideal for morning coffee, a good book, or gathering with friends. From the comfort of the outdoor sofa, watch cows graze and iguanas bask in the sun. An outdoor shower awaits you after a day at the beach, and when in season, enjoy fresh starfruit, bananas, and coconuts from the yard. The home includes everything you need for light cooking and simple living. To the left of Bajuras Beach, walk along the sand to reach iconic Shacks Beach—great for surfing, snorkeling, swimming, or a peaceful stroll. To the right, you’ll find Jobos Beach, a favorite for swimming and surfing. Be mindful of rocks, coral, and currents as you explore. 🌊 Surf Scene Isabela is known as one of Puerto Rico’s premier surf destinations, drawing surfers from around the world. Whether you’re a beginner looking for gentle waves or an experienced rider chasing powerful breaks, you’ll find a variety of spots within walking distance. Shacks and Jobos are famous for their consistent surf and lively beach vibe, and you’ll often spot locals and travelers alike catching waves at sunrise or winding down with a sunset session. Surf shops, board rentals, and lessons are all nearby, making it easy to dive into the surf culture during your stay. You’re just minutes from restaurants, nightlife, and local spots like Pozo de Jacinto, Paseo Lineal, and Montones Beach. Crash Boat Beach and Túnel de Guajataca are within a 30-minute drive. If you’re looking for a relaxed, casual beach stay—without the frills but full of charm, natural beauty, and a vibrant surf culture—this is your spot. Guest access You’ll have full access to the entire property, except for the shed, which remains locked for personal storage. Free parking is available inside the gate on the cemented area—please avoid parking on the grass. For entry, you’ll receive a personal code for the smart lock. Specific check-in instructions will be sent in your welcome email the day before your stay. The main bedroom features a large smart TV, and WiFi is provided for your enjoyment. The home is equipped with air conditioning in the main bedroom for your comfort—just be sure to close all bedroom windows, the bathroom door, and the exterior door when it’s in use. Please turn off the A/C when you’re not home. We also encourage you to open the windows and enjoy the natural breezes, especially during the cooler winter months. Paired with ceiling fans, the fresh air often provides the perfect atmosphere. This is a place where comfort meets adventure—surrounded by nature and perfect for a relaxed, memorable stay. Other things to note 🏡 About the Home This is a laid-back island home with a peaceful, rustic vibe — more country than country club, as they say! It’s a comfortable place to relax, explore, and connect with nature. There is a small step down into the bathroom from the main bedroom, so please watch your step. the kitchen is fully stocked for light cooking, and there is a stove and microwave available. ⸻ 🌿 Outdoor & Natural Surroundings This home is located in a tropical environment, so you may encounter mosquitoes, iguanas, or other local critters. Keeping food sealed, removing trash regularly, and staying tidy all help keep visits to a minimum. Natural repellents are available for your use, but feel free to bring your own if preferred. During heavy or extreme weather, the outdoor area may temporarily flood, as is common in coastal settings. ⸻ 🚿 Utilities & Essentials This is a simple beach home and does not currently have a cistern or backup power source, so on rare occasions, weather may affect water or power availability. Hot water is available in the shower only. You will be provided with two rolls of toilet paper and one roll of paper towels to get you started. Guests should plan to bring additional toiletries and essentials. You’re welcome to use any condiments or items left by previous guests or the host. ⸻ 🧳 Other Notes Please do not leave valuables such as electronics in your car, and always follow local guidance on swimming conditions and beach safety. We ask that guests help keep the home tidy. If using the A/C, please shut all windows, exterior doors, and the bathroom door to maintain the cool air. And for energy conservation, please turn off the A/C when leaving the house. The second bedroom has two drains that should stay covered. The home is personally enjoyed by the host a couple of months each year, so you may notice extra linens or personal items stored in the second bedroom.
