Parking is located on site. Other things to note PETS As per the HOA rules, pets are not allowed in the unit or common areas. Owners also have allergies to animals. NO SMOKING This is a smoke-free community, including the outside area surrounding the property. The HOA does not allow for smoking of any substance, including vaping and hookah. A Note About Nature: Palmetto Bugs Our home is located in a beautiful beachside area where warm weather and humidity are part of the charm—and so is the local wildlife. While we have regular professional pest control in place and keep the property thoroughly clean, occasional sightings of palmetto bugs (large outdoor cockroaches common in coastal regions) may happen. They are not a reflection of cleanliness, but rather a part of life near the coast. We do our best to prevent their entry, but we want to set clear expectations in case you encounter one during your stay. CLEANING & SANITIZATION Health, safety, and well-being of our guests are of utmost importance. For this reason, we use a thorough cleaning process after each check-out. In addition, preventative pest control is the third Thursday of every month. Guests agree to comply with granting access to pest control. Feel free to contact us with any additional questions you might have. - Self check-in anytime after 4:00p on the date of your arrival. - Check-out anytime before 10:00a on the date of your departure. PLEASE NOTE: We do not maintain or have control of common amenities or areas including but not limited to: Wi-Fi hallways, stairwells, pools and hot tubs, tennis courts, parking lots, grounds etc. Remember to bring Beach towels and golf clubs and any other item you may need to enjoy your stay and the activities River Oaks Golf Resort and Myrtle Beach has to offer. *Dedicated work space with private in-house router, giving secure internet instead of using community internet. **The Parking Pass is in the unit and is required to park in the lot. If guest loses/misplaces/damages parking pass, the guest is responsible for a $100 replacement fee. Pass must be returned to unit and placed on counter upon guest checks out. **The Amenities Key Fob required for use of amenities in River Oaks is in the unit. If guest loses/misplaces/damages Amenities Key Fob, the guest is responsible for a $300 replacement fee. Pass must be returned to unit and placed on counter upon guest checks out. ** Routine Pest Control happens the third Thursday of every odd month , (Jan, March, May, July, Sept, Nov) The HOA requires the technician to be allowed to enter the condo to spray during these times and guest will be expected to allow entrance to unit. This is for your protection and the protection of future guests and our Condo. South Carolina is a warm state and because of that, there are insects that seek shelter in homes. The unit will have clean linens and towels upon arrival, as well as toiletries (ie soap and shampoo) Guest will be responsible for additional supplies. There is a Washer and Dryer in the unit, you will need your own detergent. Please clean out lint trap after every use. Please remember you are staying in a home, not a hotel. Please treat the space with respect. If problems arise we will do our best to take action as soon as possible, but there is no management on site 24/7. There is security on site at night, quiet hours are after 11pm. This property has special local compliance requirements which include a signed rental agreement, ID verification, and a security hold of $1000 (which is not a traditional security deposit, just a pending transaction). As an optional alternative to the security hold, you may opt in to purchase a non-refundable damage waiver provided by a third-party insurance company. The optional damage waiver is $49 for stays up to 10 nights, with an additional $3 per day for stays longer than 10 nights. Damage waiver purchases are optional.
