The bardge sometimes runs out of fuel and we can loose power for hours. sometimes this can also mean that the city water pumps stop working so the water pressure may at times be lower than what is standards to most people. we appreciate that you take this into consideration as our island works to regulate and modernize it's electrical grid and water supply. we have backup batteries that allow to run lights and charge phones for up to 8 hours. but the air conditioning or hairdryer cannot operate on these batteries . this is the situation for most houses in Dominican republic so we ask for your understanding when booking.
