Charming lakeside cabin on a great lake in under 2 hours from the Cities. Pet friendly. The cozy knotty pine cabin is the ultimate serene getaway. Screened-in porch, fireplace, firepit, deck. Private, flat lakefront on a great fishing lake, it’s a peaceful place to enjoy nature and visit nearby Kathio Mille Lacs State Park. Located in front of popular ice fishing spot and on snowmobile trail. ATV trails close to cabin, leading to 700 miles of trails. High speed internet. The space Private lake access, screened-in porch, deck, fireplace, high-speed wifi, gas fireplace. Close to ATV and snowmobile trails, Kathio Mille Lacs State Park. Surrounded by knotty pine throughout the large shared spaces, it's classic up north and great for entertaining. The bedrooms are small and quaint, but both offer queens beds. The large, southern-facing lakeside room (27' x 12') serves as a family space during the day and can double as a bunk house at night, with bunked twin over queen bed. The main area is an open format space- with kitchen and island, dining, and living room seating area. The master bedroom is 15' x 8' and has a queen sized bed. The second bedroom is 9.5' x 7.5' and has a queen sized bed. There are additionally 2 pull-out sleeper sofas (one double in the lakeside room, 1 twin loveseat in the living room. The property is .66 acres, with large grassy lawn. The cabin and lawn are flat access to the lake and dock with no stairs to deal with. The 3-season porch is a fantastic place to enjoy morning coffee or evening cards in bug-free peace. The deck include a gas-powered grill (propane included). We are located on the north end of the lake, which is native habitat to wild rice and aquatic nursery so while we do our best to clear the space around the dock for recreation, the cattails and lily pads to the channel are part of the scenery. The dock is great for launching boats, canoes or kayaks, or paddle boarding. Lake Sullivan itself is large and deep at 1,100 acres with a max depth of 57 feet. We are near the channel which connects to Platte Lake, offering another 1,600 acres and max depth of 23 feet. Between the two, there is great fishing of Walleye, Bass, Northern Pike, Crappie, Sunfish and Perch. A 14.5’ two person canoe is available life jackets also ranging from toddler to XXXL adult. Guest access The whole cabin is yours. The private dock is available to dock your boat. Other things to note We take pride in offering a welcoming experience- enjoy complimentary high quality coffee, water-processed decaf coffee, assorted gourmet teas, and baking/cooking essentials and quality spices. Towels are provided (100% cotton), and pillows are a variety of Down and memory foam for differing preferences. Quality Stonewall Kitchen hand soaps and lotion are provided, and shampoo, conditioner and body wash. The well water is clean and healthy and has no taste, but a water filter is provided as well. Lawn games (bean bag toss, jumbo Jenga) provided.
