Holly House B & B is a new studio apartment in the downstairs of my 1930's English Tudor home. Its beautiful light-filled decor is designed to help you relax, and unwind during your visit to historic Lancaster County. Holly House offers you privacy with an outside entrance into your tranquil space which features a living room, bedroom alcove, dining space, kitchen, full bathroom, laundry facilities, and off-street parking, steps from your door. Breakfast each day will feature home-made dishes. DISH TV, wifi, washer and dryer are available. Pack N Play can be provided for infants or toddlers at your request. You will access the BnB through a private entrance, using a lockbox, and have excess to the entire space. I look forward to meeting every one of my guests, and helping with questions about the area, directions, etc. I do work full-time night shift as a Registered Nurse, so may not always be there to greet you upon arrival. There will be a lock box so if you arrive when I'm not home, you will be able to let yourself in, and make yourself at home. Akron is a beautiful small town, and it is a joy just to walk through town to see all the beautiful well-maintained, homes, manicured lawns and beautiful flowers. Akron is located in Lancaster County, with easy access to Lancaster city, Dutch Wonderland, the Sight and Sound theater, Hershey Park, Harrisburg, Philly and Baltimore. Akron is located on Route 272, just a couple minutes from Route 222, which allows quick trips to Lancaster, Reading, and more. It is also surrounded by beautiful back roads which are great to explore as you visit Amish country. Beautiful rolling farmland with road side stands that feature everything from fresh fruit and vegetables, local honey, canned goods, fresh baked pies and breads, to the very valued quilts. Akron has hometown festivities including days in the park, and New Year's Eve Shoe Drop! Ephrata, which holds the largest small town street fair on the east coast every September adjoins Akron to the North. ***Holiday weekends guests must book 2 nights minimum. This includes New Year's, Valentine's Day, Easter, Memorial Day, Fourth of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving and Christmas. At all other times I allow 1 night stays.
