The Cloud Forest House (Cloud House)

Welcome to “The Cloud Forest House”! A refuge inspired by the circular Chachapoya constructions and crowned with the sustainability and versatility of bamboo. Located atop a mountain, it offers panoramic views of the Valley of the Falls and our imposing and beloved Gocta. Our beautiful house is the ideal place to connect with nature and enjoy unforgettable moments with friends and family. The space The house is distributed in two areas: The rest area and social area. The rest area consists of two large rooms, each with a work area, closet and bathroom. Room 1 (Pirka) has a queen-size bed (and in addition a single bed, removable if necessary), a terrace and panoramic views of the waterfall. Room 2 (Gatmalap) features a queen-size bed, garden, and stunning panoramic views of the valley. The social area has a living room, kitchen, dining room, and terrace. The kitchen is fully equipped, the living room has a seating area with a wood stove, direct views of the waterfall and access to the main terrace. (portable grill on request at no extra cost) The house is surrounded by a lush garden of orchids, local plants, and native trees, which proudly houses hummingbirds, butterflies, and many more nature guests. When the sky allows, the bonfire area is ideal for watching the stars while enjoying a fire. Outdoor activities: You'll find a variety of activities, from hiking to nature exploration, ideal for adventure lovers. Wi-Fi Connection: Stay connected with the free Wi-Fi network available throughout the house. Laundry: The house also has a fully-equipped laundry room. You can wash and dry your clothes hassle-free. Extra services (extra cost): Grocery shopping: shopping before your arrival or during your stay. Breakfasts and lunches: Breakfasts and lunches must be requested at least 2 days in advance. Housekeeping: Your stay includes housekeeping prior to your arrival and after your departure. We offer extra housekeeping service during your stay, daily, inter-daily, or on-demand. Guest access You can enjoy the entire house, its facilities, as well as the garden and orchard. Other things to note Warnings & Recommendations: Arrival includes an 8-minute walk uphill (we'll help you with your luggage). In addition, there may be some rustic adventures such as sporadic incursions of local fauna (don't forget that we are the visitors), all part of the charm of the place.
