Whether you're here for outdoor adventure or peaceful relaxation, Nature’s Nook is the perfect spot for a cozy, nature-filled retreat! The space Welcome to Nature’s Nook A-Frame – Your Cozy Retreat! As you arrive at this charming A-frame, you’ll immediately be embraced by the natural surroundings. Pull into the driveway and park to the right. A sign on the tree will guide you to both the A-frame and the cottage. Please park in the designated spot for the A-frame—there’s space for two cars. Enter the Home: Head up the deck stairs to the front door, which features a convenient digital keypad. You’ll receive your unique entry code a day before your arrival, ensuring a seamless check-in. Main Living Areas: Step inside, and you’re welcomed by a cozy sitting area—a perfect spot to unwind with a good book, morning coffee, or a cocktail. To your right, you’ll find a comfortable living room featuring a sofa, accent chair, and a Roku smart TV, ideal for relaxing after a day of exploring. As you move toward the back of the house, you’ll come to the dining area, perfect for enjoying meals together. The fully equipped kitchen, right next door, includes an oven, stove, microwave, fridge, and a Keurig coffee maker with a few K-cups to get you started. Please note, while there is no dishwasher, ample counter space allows for easy meal prep. Bedroom and Bathroom: Just down the hallway is Bedroom #2, featuring a queen-size bed, Roku TV, a closet, and a small dresser for all your essentials. The full bathroom, conveniently located nearby, has a tub and shower, shampoo, shower gel, hand soap, and towels. We also provide a makeup towel, extra blankets, and pillows for your comfort. Outdoor Relaxation and Fun: Step outside to the screened-in patio—a peaceful retreat where you can enjoy the sounds of nature and perhaps an occasional rooster from nearby farms. The patio is also home to the laundry area, which includes a washer, dryer, detergent, and dryer sheets for your convenience. For those with children, the small backyard and grassy side area are great for playtime. Don’t forget to enjoy the shared fire pit area, where you can gather in the evening for relaxation or conversation. Please be considerate as this space is shared with the cottage guests. The fire pit is wood-burning, and firewood is not provided, so be sure to bring your own if you’d like to enjoy a cozy evening by the fire. Upstairs - A Unique Retreat: The stairs to the second floor are steep, so please be cautious. We’ve provided baby gates at both the top and bottom for families with young children. Once upstairs, you’ll find the main bedroom, which offers a cozy queen-size bed, Roku TV, closet, and a window AC to ensure comfort year-round. This room is connected to the game room—a perfect space for all ages. Enjoy hours of fun with a retro arcade game, giant Connect Four, board games, and a futon for lounging. The balcony overlooks the front foyer, adding to the charm of the space. A Few Details to Note: • Our home comfortably accommodates up to four guests. Children under the age of 2 do not count toward the guest total. • Please watch your head due to the unique A-frame design with sloped ceilings—particularly in the upstairs areas. We look forward to welcoming you! Guest access You will have exclusive access to the entire A-frame home, with the exception of a locked owner’s closet located in the upstairs hallway. The home is fully private and not shared. The fire pit area is in its own enclosed, private space, separate from both units on the property. Other things to note Located just 3.5 miles from downtown St. Augustine, our A frame offers the best of both worlds—secluded and private, yet close to everything you need for the perfect getaway. Nestled off US-1, you’ll feel like you’re tucked away in the woods, but rest assured, the moment you leave the neighborhood, you’re minutes from restaurants, shops, and attractions. Vilano Beach is the closest beach, and we provide four foldable beach chairs on the back patio for guest use. This charming A frame is cozy, inviting, and perfect for a staycation, a romantic escape, or simply a peaceful retreat in nature.
