This centrally located industrial chic loft-styled studio is perfect for the whole family including your furry friends. Whether you're a couple, family, or small group, you'll enjoy being able to park, unpack and walk everywhere you could want to in Tapanui. Located in the heart of the main street with cafe, dairy, supermarket, chemist, pub, T&C Club, RSA, WO Theatre, library and information centre, right on your doorstep. A fully fenced yard with BBQ area & dog kennel, everyone is catered for. The space The space features: 1 x Queen size bed in the main room 2 x single beds in the spare room 2 seater + 3 seater couch Air Conditioner / Heat pump 2 x televisions (55" and 43") both are Smart TVs with Google/Android OS Free unlimited Wifi Netflix Live TV is available via Freeview app The kitchenette has a plug in hot plate, microwave, fridge/freezer, pots, frypans, utensils, plates, glassware, tea/coffee - all the basic things you'll want for short term stays. A BBQ outside if the weather is good. There is a bar table overlooking the window onto the main street, it is a large slab of wood and very heavy, please enjoy it but don't let children climb on it, for their safety. We have provided board games, cards, magazines, books, and informative pamphlets to help you to enjoy your stay and plan activities. Swap a book and take it with you. There are two parking spaces available out the back of the property if you wish to park off street, however parking on the street is safe and closest point to the front door. We invite guests travelling with dogs to stay. However, there is a limit of two dogs at a time. The outside areas are shared by the neighbouring Chemist so no aggressive animals are allowed, as we want those with access to the space to feel safe. Barking will impact our neighbours (other Tapanui residents) so please monitor and control your animal's behaviour. We also ask that you pick up after your dogs by using the poop scoop and bucket provided. We clean thoroughly but if you suffer allergies, this may not be the optimal accommodation for you - we say this upfront because we want you to enjoy your stay. Our flooring is sealed concrete with rugs and commercial grade lino in the kitchen and bathroom areas, decor is mostly leather, so it's easily cleaned. OUTSIDE The outside/backyard area is shared with the neighbouring Chemist, usually only one person working at a time, Monday to Friday, 9am-5pm. The ladies who run it are lovely, and mostly only enter the courtyard for a coffee at smoko or to access the property bin.. There is a courtyard area with table for 8people, Weber BBQ with gas bottle which can be used as an outdoor oven as well as grill. There is also a large back yard with lawns, trees, rocks - fun for children and pets to explore, and a second table with seating for four with views of the Blue Mountains. This area is secured by padlocked gates. You receive a key to the rear gate when you check in and we ask that you keep it locked at all times for your security and that of other guests. Guest access There is a lock box in the entry foyer of the Airbnb. A code will be provided when you book. Let yourself in on the day of your booking any time after 2pm.
