Holiday Bliss - Tirau, Piarere

After 23 years of living in Paradise, Carmen and David (your hosts) are excited to be able to share it with you. This stunning guest house is situated on a beautifully treed farm, in the heart of the Waikato. It boasts a warm, moody, and romantic ambience. One of the most special additions to this homestay is the fresh water cedar and stainless steel hot tub! We also provide a gourmet breakfast ready to be cooked. The space: The fully functioning kitchen (equipped with a dishwasher), luxurious King bed, and superb undercover outdoor living, make this the perfect getaway. The luxury outdoor furniture on the large wrap-around deck make it easy to enjoy the stunning sunsets on this elevated site. The views are gorgeous, reaching out to neighboring farmland and beyond to Mount Te Aroha and the Kaimai ranges. The large windows take advantage of the scenery while inside. One of the most special additions to this homestay is the cedar and stainless steel hot tub. This is cleaned and the water refreshed for every visit - no chemicals in these tubs! Waffle machines, with waffle mixture, bacon (to be cooked on the barbecue), fruit, and mascarpone will be available as a delicious breakfast to fuel your busy day. This unit is one (of two) semi-detached units with its own private parking, outdoor, and hot tub areas. Guest access: Guests will have their own covered carport connected to the homestay. Other things to note: Tirau is the perfect place for your getaway. There is an abundance of cute coffee shops, boutique clothes, furniture, and everything in-between. Situated close to many attractions and cities, Tirau is the perfect location to use as the base for your holiday. We are close to Lake Karapiro, Te Waihou Walkway, Takapoto Estate, the Waikato River Trails, Wairere Falls, and Hobbiton. Tauranga, Rotorua, Hamilton, and Taupo are all in close proximity. We are happy to host day trips to local attractions in our boat. We can also offer bike hire and kayak hire on request. This can be arranged directly with the hosts.
