Outdoor BBQ: Fire up the barbecue outside and dine al fresco while soaking in the sights and sounds of the river. The space The dome measures 6 meters in diameter, offering 215 square feet of thoughtfully designed living space. It is situated on a spacious platform elevated approximately 7 feet above the ground, accessible by a set of stairs. Positioned just a few meters from the river, the dome offers stunning river views, both from its interior and the platform. We have a bell tent set up right next to the dome to accommodate any additional guests or children who wish to join their parents. The tent includes a queen-size air mattress, and a picture is posted. If you prefer, you can move the mattress inside the dome to accommodate your extra guests. However, please note that the dome is specifically designed for two people. Inside, the dome is equipped with a kitchenette featuring a microwave, toaster, coffee maker, electric kettle, refrigerator, air conditioner, and all essential utensils. It includes a washroom with a toilet and a warm water shower powered by an electric showerhead. For your comfort, the dome is furnished with a cozy queen-sized bed. Due to the nature of the dome, big dogs are not allowed. However, small dogs are permitted with an additional fee of $5. Guests must obtain prior approval by discussing their pets with the host in advance. There is a restaurant about five minutes drive from the dome or breakfast can be arranged on request for additional cost between $5 to $7 per person. Guest access You’ll have exclusive access to our 5-acre property, which features a serene river, a walking trail, and other public pathways for your enjoyment. The dome is conveniently located just a 5-minute drive from the main road, accessible by a regular sedan, or a 15-20 minute walk along a gravel road for those arriving via public transportation. To reach the dome, you’ll need to cross a hanging bridge over the river. This bridge is designed to accommodate vehicles, including pickup trucks. For a seamless arrival, please reach out to the host ahead of time to receive a detailed driving directions video. Once you park your car, you’ll need to walk down steps towards the river and follow a pathway along the river for approximately 130 meters to reach the dome. To make your arrival smoother: • Please let me know your estimated time of arrival in advance so I can arrange for someone to meet you. • Assistance with carrying your bags to and from the dome will be provided free of charge. • While we recommend arriving before 6:00 PM, the pathway is equipped with lights in case of a late arrival. Due to the nature of the dome, big dogs are not allowed. However, small dogs are permitted with an additional fee of $10.
