The view is of Toxaway mountain and a distant waterfall. The master King bedroom with its own full bathroom is located upstairs. Fully stocked kitchen with a dinette that seats 4, another dining room table that seats 8. There is a bird cage in the corner of the dining room, no bird. Plenty of outdoor seating with the gas grill. The hot tub is located on the downstairs porch. Also, downstairs are 2 queen bedrooms, all with their own full bathrooms, a spacious living room, and laundry room. The space Looking out the Living room\master bedroom, window is the view of Toxaway mountain and Raven Rock Waterfalls. A quick 5 minute drive down Cardinal Dr. West, is the trail head to the waterfalls and other trails. Newly remodeled and finished in the fall of 2024. Hardwood flooring throughout the whole upstairs. Quartz countertop in the fully stocked kitchen, which has filter water, and a dinette(seating 4), and another that has seating for 8. The bird cage is in the left corner of the dining room. The owner has a bird and leaves the cage behind so they can use it when they are staying there. A sectional comfy creamy suede couch is next to the bigger dining room. The living room has an open gas fireplace, with rock and wood around. The TV is located above the fireplace. The master King is on this main floor and has a TV, with french doors that go out onto the back deck. It has a full bathroom and closet. There is also a powder room adjacent to the living room and stairs that go downstairs. As you go out the back doors to the porch there will be a big bird cage that is stationary and the owners use it. The porch has more seating, log rocking chairs, and the gas grill. The view is amazing! Downstairs is another sectional blue leather couch(with two built in recliners) that you can enjoy lounging in while watching another TV. The french doors go out to the Hot tub. The stocked laundry room with a locked owner's closet and other two queen beds, with full baths and closets are located downstairs too. This isn't a pet friendly home, even though there is a big bird cage that is in the dining room. Listed below are different local waterfalls, and things to do. Lake Toxaway is the largest private lake in North Carolina has 14 miles of shoreline at 3,010 feet elevation. Stream-fed waters from high in the Nantahala and Pisgah National Forests makes it one of the cleanest lakes you'll find. Since you will be in the middle of the “Land of the Waterfalls,”(Looking Glass Falls) find many hiking trails and gorgeous cascades including at nearby Panthertown Valley, Gorges State Park and Toxaway Falls. Explore quaint downtown Brevard with galleries, local shops, great restaurants and local brews. Pisgah Forest and Dupont have many trails for hiking and biking. Rainbow falls-(3 miles round-trip, moderate) This majestic 150-ft. waterfall in the Pisgah National Forest can be reached via a hiking trail from Gorges State Park. Enjoy the falls safely on a boulder at its base or at the top. A little upstream is Turtleback Falls, a cool summer swimming hole. Whitewater falls-See the upper section of the highest waterfall east of the Mississippi, plunging 411 ft.! Whitewater Falls is the tallest waterfall east of the Rockies, falling 811 ft. The best part is that you can get a great view with a short walk. The walkway begins at the end of the parking lot and is accessible to wheelchairs. A lower overlook is located at the bottom of 154 wooden steps. Panthertown-This Backcountry Area of Nantahala National Forest is home to many waterfalls. In addition to the popular Schoolhouse Falls, find hikes to Greenland Creek Falls (pic), Wilderness Falls and Frolictown Falls. Known as the “Yosemite of the East” Panthertown Valley is considered one of North Carolina’s mountain treasures with over 25 cascading waterfalls, 30 miles of trails, trout streams, sheer granite cliffs and panoramic views. A destination for hikers, mountain bikers, equestrians, rock climbers and anglers. Trailhead parking is 4.5 miles from The Greystone. Toxaway falls-This roadside waterfall can be viewed from the top on a walkway along US Highway 64 at Lake Toxaway, located between Brevard and Cashiers. The meadows Pavilion-Meadow Ridge is a field and mountain neighborhood within Lake Toxaway Estates. The 60-acre nature preserve has an open area with wildflowers, a playground, a pavilion, firepit, and picnic tables to enjoy the views of the surrounding Blue Ridge Mountains. A gravel hiking path circles the open area with outstanding views in all directions. Guest access Guests have access to the whole house.
