Escape the hectic world down in the valley and recharge your batteries on the Queen of the Mountains, high above Lake Lucerne. Rigi Kaltbad is completely car-free. The cozy vacation home directly above the village center of Rigi Kaltbad offers everything you need for a break for a few days or weeks. The space The property is only accessible by cable car or cog railway (note the timetable). From the station it is about 5-10 minutes to the house. The house was built in the 50's and recently extensively renovated. Ideal for holidays with family, friends or a work session. The optimal occupation is 4-6 people. Travel cot for infants is available. The equipment of the kitchen is very extensive. So there is a fondue pan and a raclette oven. Baking sheets, baking molds etc. are just as available as a vermicelle press. There is also a simple coffee machine (beans) for coffee makers. Dinnerware, glasses and cutlery are available in all designs and plenty of the number. - Spacious and cozy living room with modern amenities such as Sonos, TV and WiFi Internet. - Each of the 3 bedrooms offers a magnificent view of the mountains. - Can accommodate 6 people. A trip baby/cot is also available. - Spacious bathroom with a bathtub/shower. - Well-equipped and new kitchen with large fridge, coffee machine (beans), dishwasher, oven and induction hob. - Small laundry room with washing machine - Balcony with large table, chairs and breathtaking views - Seating in the countryside with fireplace - Electric heaters and wood burning stove - Shopping available in the village (approx. 5-10 min walk) Heating: In the cold season and especially at this altitude of 1400 m above sea level. M certainly a noteworthy topic. The house has no central heating. All rooms are equipped with electric stoves and in the living room there is a storage stove, which charges overnight. The wood or Swedish stove provides wonderful and fast warmth, especially in the cold season. Other things to note The house is located at 1400 m and it can also be cold in summer. We recommend, especially in the cold seasons, to bring something warmer and slippers for the house. There is a shopping facility, but we recommend that you do your major shopping in the valley before starting your trip. The Rigi village shop has different opening hours depending on the season.
