Haidaway Cottage at Chesterman Beach

The Haidaway cottage at gold coast retreat has an ideal location, just across from the beach path to famous Chesterman Beach, with 2 km. of open surf & sand. The village of Tofino is 6km away by car or bike path . We offer total privacy in a tranquil setting on a warm south facing property. Chesterman Beach is only a 2 minutes walk, you can fall asleep with the soothing sounds of the surf. We accept only one small non-shedding dog at the rate of 50 dollars and no pets in July and August. The space The Haidaway is perfect for couples or small family in total privacy, only few steps from the beach. However it is not suitable for children under 5 years old. The Haidaway has a fully stocked kitchen with gas cooking stove, full size fridge and dishwasher. A propane bbq and outdoor dining solarium. The Haidaway has it's own laundry facility. The living room has a leather sofa and a leather recliner, tv with stereo sound and all channels. Of course there is Optik wifi. The bedroom downstairs has a queen size bed, the upstairs through a steep stairway has a double size bed. The upstairs is not suitable for young children or a person with mobility issues. The Haidaway is suitable for a maximum of 3 guests, which is perfect for 2 adults and one child over 5 years old. The steep stairway makes it not suitable for very young children or seniors. There's a walk in shower in the bathroom. The outside has another solarium with a 1908 6' clawfoot tub and comes with privacy and bubbles. It has been dubbed by previous guests as "the tub of youth". There is also hot and cold outdoor shower, perfect for rinsing off after a surf. There is also another outdoor deck with 2 comfy adirondak chairs. The yard is totally private surrounded by rainforest vegetation. Guest access Cottage self contained in its own private yard, two minutes walk to the beach with private parking for one vehicle.
