Welcome to Boshuisje Zunne, a cozy forest cottage on the edge of the forest in the Achterhoek. Enjoy peace, privacy and a large fenced garden — with or without a dog. Right on the Pieterpad and 't Zand Estate, ideal for hiking and biking. You can also stay here comfortably with young children. End your day with a wood-fired pizza, a drink in the garden, and the warmth of the pellet stove. The space Boshuisje Zunne is located in a small-scale forest park on the edge of the forest in Zelhem, in the green heart of the Achterhoek. A nice place to be together, get out into nature and really recharge. Inside, you will find a cozy living room with a comfortable sitting area and garden views. The pellet stove provides extra atmosphere and warmth, but the cottage also has regular heating and air conditioning. This makes it comfortable here all year round. Watch a movie or series, put on an LP, grab a book or choose a game from the well-stocked game cabinet. Extensive cooking & long, leisurely meals. The kitchen is fully equipped with, among other things, an induction cooktop, combi-oven, dishwasher, fridge with freezer compartment, Nespresso machine, Moccamaster (filter coffee machine) and milk frother. Cooking and baking enthusiasts also need to bring little from home. Coffee, tea, herbs and various basic products are available for you. Sleep comfortably. The cottage has two bedrooms with comfortable box spring beds, made with luxurious bedding. Both bedrooms have wooden blinds, screens and electric shutters that allow you to completely darken the rooms. The bathroom has towels (2 per person) and fine care products. Also nice with young children. We are happy to make a stay with your little one as easy as possible. Upon request, we will provide a camp bed, high chair and changing mat for you. In addition, a bottle warmer, children's crockery and cutlery, a step stool and a toilet seat reducer are available. There are toys available for the little ones, and you can safely store a stroller or buggy in the garden shed. A large, fenced garden. From the living room, you can step right onto the terrace and into the approximately 350 m² garden. Enjoy the tranquility, listen to the birds, and with a bit of luck, a squirrel will pass by. The garden is green and fully enclosed, which is especially nice when your dog goes on vacation with you. On nice evenings, you can light the wood-fired pizza oven and sit outside for a long time. In the garden shed, you will also find various outdoor games. The Achterhoek from your front door There are (non-electric) bicycles available to explore the area, and there are hiking and biking routes in the cottage for inspiration. The Pieterpad and Landgoed 't Zand are practically on your doorstep. Nearby you will find miles of trails through forests, moors, along small marshes and over sandy paths. Would you like a bit more liveliness in between? Then visit Doesburg, Bronckhorst, Vorden or Zutphen for cozy terraces, shops, restaurants, castles and museums. Whether you come as a couple, with friends, with (young) children or with your dog: at Zunne, you mainly set the pace yourself. Hiking, biking, extensive cooking or just doing nothing at all. Guest access You have the forest cabin, the garden and the garden shed all to yourself. Your own bicycles can be safely stored in the lockable garden shed, where there is also a power point for charging e-bikes. You can also easily store a stroller or buggy here. There is a car park right next to the forest cottage. You can park a second car for free at the park entrance. Zunne is easily accessible by public transportation. Bus line 23 (Borculo–Zelhem–Doetinchem) stops at the park entrance. Are you walking the Pieterpad? The park is located directly on stage 14 — from the route, you are just a few steps away from the cottage. Other things to note The forest cabin is located in a small-scale forest park with limited amenities. Most of the cottages in this area are privately owned, which creates a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. Check-in is easy and contactless via a lockbox by the front door. You will receive the access code along with detailed arrival information a few days before your arrival. During periods of drought, the wood-fired pizza oven may temporarily not be allowed to be used by order of the park manager due to the risk of fire, as the cottage is located in the forest. We would like to ask for your understanding. Maximum 1 dog per stay. A second dog may be possible on request; please contact us about this before booking.
