The space This beautiful cottage is brand new. Just completed in 2024. It is a true mountain property that sits on 8 acres at the end of a steep gravel road. THE ROAD REQUIRES ALL WHEEL DRIVE OR 4 WHEEL DRIVE, but the payoff is worth it. Views are second to none. It is only 11 miles from Asheville and 12 miles from the Blue Ridge Parkway. Outside you can enjoy cooking out on the patio or relax in an Adirondack chair by the fire pit (firewood is provided). The entire gable end of the cottage is windows so the view can be enjoyed from inside or out. The main room has vaulted ceilings and includes the living, dining, and well-appointed kitchen. All appliances are brand new. There is one bedroom with queen bed downstairs and another queen bed in the loft bedroom. The bathroom is also on the main level. There is also a washer and dryer for your convenience. We recommend getting out and exploring the area because there is so much on offer, so we compiled some of our favorites into a guidebook for you to peruse, but if you find a hidden gem please let us know by recording it in the guestbook. However, if you want to stay in, there is a smart TV in the living room and the WiFi is beamed from outer space (Starlink) and is quite fast. There are also puzzles, games, and cornhole for the competitive type. Sometimes the best memories can be made by just playing games with friends and family and knocking back some smores (smores sticks provided).
