Oceanfront 2BR condo (Ocean Point 1, Kite Beach)

We are located on Kite Beach in the multi-sport and stunning town of Cabarete. Our condo was renovated in 2020, and offers a clean, bright and well-furnished space for your stay at Ocean Point. We do live in the condo most of the year, so I hope you find all the amenities you need, and that everything’s in working order…and if it’s not, please let us know! The space The best part of the condo is the enormous deck. It offers a welcoming hanging bed to enjoy the spectacular views of the morning surf, the afternoon kiters flying high….or sleeping outdoors to the sound of the ocean! The large kitchen has modern appliances, a gas stove, beautiful live-edge dining table, and a welcoming granite island with bar stools to enjoy the freedom of cooking for yourself. The master bedroom has a king bed with ocean views, and en suite bathroom and plenty of storage space. The tap water is filtered and potable, but we also have a bottled water dispenser. Both the wifi and TV are backed up by separate UPS units to prevent interruption from any quick power outages (Ocean Point has a super reliable and very seamless backup generator). There are no designated parking spots, but free and secure parking is at the base of your back stairs. Guest access Since this is the primary home, we have kept some of our personal stuff in the air conditioning closet, as well as in the storage cabinets in Bedroom #2. Wet kite gear can be stored on the back deck, but please keep it tidy. Otherwise, the entire condo is yours to use! Other things to note There are a few amenities nearby: a colmado for basics awaits across the road, or the kite club next door offers a great menu and can fulfills all your kiting needs. And just 300m down the beach, Mesa Taina is a popular restaurant with amazing sushi and a lively vibe!
