Pet Policy We love welcoming furry friends! If you’d like to bring one or two quiet, house-trained dogs (less than 50 pounds each), please follow these guidelines: 1. Notify Us: Provide the breed and weight of your dogs. 2. Furniture Rules: Dogs are not allowed on furniture or off property. 3. Leashed and Secure: Keep your dogs leashed and only on our property. 4. Crate When Away: If you’re not in the cabin, please secure dogs on the back porch or in a crate. 5. Proper Walks: Walk your dogs along the woods-edge, away from the home, and avoid the pavement, as it’s not our property. 6. Responsibility: You are responsible for any damage or extra cleaning caused by your pets. 7. Cats Welcome: If you have cats, they are allowed. (we love cats) Tenant Responsibilities (Sample Clauses) • Indoor Confinement: Cats must remain indoors at all times, except when transported. No balconies or common areas allowed. • Litter Box Care: Place litter boxes on plastic mats. Scoop waste daily. Do not flush "flushable" litter to prevent pipe clogs. • Hygiene & Behavior: Keep the unit clean. Ensure the cat's behavior doesn't disturb neighbors (e.g., excessive meowing). • Supervision: Do not leave the cat unattended for unreasonable periods, as this can cause stress and damage. • Identification: Keep a collar with ID tags on the cat at all times.
