The Duck House has far more to offer than a cute name. With high-end interiors, four bedrooms and lake views from the open-plan living space, it’s a calm, comfortable home for groups. Mornings start with coffee and quiet lakeside views, evenings drift from dinner to the hot tub, and the best part? You don’t even need all your ducks in a line, because we’ll take care of everything. The space This detached lake house sleeps up to eight guests across four bedrooms, including a ground-floor en-suite. Inside, high-end interiors flow through the chef’s kitchen, open-plan lounge and dining area, all facing across the water. Smart tech and fast Wi-Fi make it easy to settle in, while flexible bed setups work well for families, friends or mixed groups. Outside, you’ll find a private hot tub with lake views, plus three decking areas positioned to catch the sun throughout the day. The property is dog-friendly and welcomes up to two dogs per stay. Guest access You’ll have full use of the lodge, the enclosed lakefront deck, the private hot tub, the outdoor dining area and the BBQ. The deck has direct access to the lake via a side gate, and private parking is right outside the property. Other things to note We’re dog-friendly and welcome up to two dogs (a third may be possible on request). A high chair and travel cot are available at no extra cost, and we can help with light decoration touches for birthdays, proposals or other occasions. Open-water swimming is permitted directly from the deck and is one of the highlights of staying here. Swimming is at guests’ own risk and requires a waiver before arrival. Paddleboard hire is available, and with easy lake access, it’s perfect for slow mornings on the water or sunset paddles. The lodge sits within the private, gated Waters Edge estate, a peaceful place designed for relaxed breaks rather than large or noisy gatherings. If you’re travelling with a bigger group, we manage more than 18 homes on Waters Edge and nearly 50 across the wider Cotswolds, so we can recommend neighbouring houses or help coordinate multiple bookings.
