To complete this spirit of tranquility, the cottage is accessed by a forest track by 4x4 or on foot. For those who do not have a 4x4, your hosts will pick you up on arrival and bring you back on your departure. The space The gîte consists of a living room, living room with wood-burning stove - dining room and integrated kitchen and a bathroom with shower, sink, toilet, washing machine on the ground floor. Guest access To complete this spirit of tranquility, the cottage is accessed by a 3.5 km forest track (4x4 necessary) or on foot by another path (20 minutes uphill / 10 minutes downhill) to the parking place. Other things to note Nestled at an altitude of 850 m in a charming little private hamlet, in the heart of the Pyrénées Ariégeoises Regional Natural Park in the magnificent Ribérot valley, this gîte, renovated by the owners, is an old barn, typical of this corner of the Pyrenees, in total autonomy. Thanks to the electricity supplied by solar panels only, you can adopt an eco-citizen approach by managing your electricity consumption with solar energy. We do not have appliances that consume too much energy, such as a microwave, to ensure autonomy. Water is omnipresent thanks to its multiple springs. You can drink the mountain water, and a Berkey filtration system will be available to guarantee your consumption. You will also enjoy the small private lake around which you can relax on the deckchairs. Sheets, towels and linen provided for €10/bed for 2 people.
