To perfect this spirit of tranquility, you can access the cottage by a forest track in 4x4 or on foot. For those who don't have a 4x4, your hosts will pick you up at check-in and bring you back when you leave. The space The cottage consists on the ground floor of a living room, living room with wood stove - dining room and integrated kitchen and a bathroom with shower, sink, toilet, washing machine. Upstairs 2 bedrooms, one with a 140 bed and the second with 2 140 beds. You will also enjoy the small private lake around which you can lounge on the deckchairs. Guest access To perfect this spirit of tranquility, we access the cottage by a 3.5 km forest track (4x4 necessary) or on foot by another path (20 min uphill / 10 min downhill) to the parking spot. For those who don't have a 4x4, your hosts will pick you up at check-in and bring you back when you leave. Other things to note Nestled at an altitude of 850 m in a charming small private hamlet, in the heart of the Regional Natural Park of the Pyrenees Ariégeoises in the magnificent Ribérot valley, this cottage renovated by the owners, is an old barn, typical of this corner of the Pyrenees, in total autonomy. Thanks to the electricity provided by solar panels only, you will be able to adopt an eco-citizen approach by managing your electricity consumption with solar energy. We do not have too energy-intensive devices like the microwave to ensure autonomy. Water is omnipresent thanks to its multiple springs. You can drink the mountain water and a Berkey filtering system will be available to ensure your consumption. You will also enjoy the small private lake around which you can lounge on the deckchairs. Sheets, towels and linen provided for €10/2-person bed.
