The apartment is located in a magnificent location on the shores of the Kemijoki River, very close to the Ounasvaara ski resort and services. Here you can enjoy a peaceful rural landscape, beautiful nature and the authentic atmosphere of Lapland - while supermarkets and restaurants are just a short walk away. The area offers a wide range of activities for every traveler. Nearby you will find hiking, cross-country and downhill skiing trails as well as a sauna with an ice-hole swimming opportunity. Bus stop next door. The space The place is very well located. There are lots of fun things to do nearby for families and adults. Santa's workshop village, the Arctic Circle and Santa Park are about 4 km away. Bus 8 runs from the train station right next to our apartments and continues from there directly to the Arctic Circle to Santa's Village and back to the city center. HopLop and Rollohalli are located about 500 meters away, Ounasvaara Ski Resort about a kilometer away. Golfing is about 2 kilometers from our place. The adjacent Kemijoki is a wonderful place to swim, boat, fish in summer and in winter you can ice fish, ski, walk and do motor sports on its ice. You can go downhill in the yard. We offer sleds, sleds and snow tubes for free. About 3 km away is SantaSport, where you can do a variety of sports and swimming. From the yard you can access your own beach to photograph nature and watch the northern lights. The city lights do not interfere with the view of the northern lights. Rovaniemi offers amazing experiences all year round. Meet Santa Claus in Santa's Workshop and cross the magical Arctic Circle. Explore the Arctic nature and culture at Arktikum and the secrets of the forests at the Pilke Science Center. Ounasvaara invites you to ski, cross-country ski and hike, and the Santasport Spa offers relaxation and experiences for the whole family. Other things to note The Suutarintie apartments are located in a beautiful, traditional Lappish country courtyard, which is a protected, historical site. There are two apartments, located in an idyllic semi-detached house. One apartment sleeps four and the other three. A lovely place for two families of friends or two generations traveling together. The property is also ideal for solo travelers; the area is safe and all services are within walking distance.
