This recently renovated four season cottage is located in the Haliburton Highlands region - approximately 2.5 hours from Toronto. Situated on a quiet lake with large 150 feet shoreline frontage, perfect for swimming or lounging on the dock. Located in the Highlands East, in the geocaching capital, there is something for everyone - hiking, biking, snowmobiling, Fishing relaxation or adventure - you'll find it here! The cottage features beautifully finished, open-concept main living areas. The living room boasts a large scenic window overlooking the lake, ideal for enjoying sunrise views. Amenities include a flat-screen TV, Amazon Fire Stick, WiFi, comfortable seating, and ample space for your family. The kitchen is fully equipped with a fridge, stove, oven, dishwasher, microwave, air fryer, toaster, coffee maker, Keurig, dishes, pots and pans. There are three bedrooms and one bathroom in the cottage. The master bedroom offers a queen-size bed, the second bedroom includes a queen-size bed and a twin-size bunk bed, and the third bedroom features two twin-size bunk beds. The bathroom is complete with a four-piece setup (tub/shower/toilet/sink). The whole cottage has blackout curtains for a good night sleep. Location For those of you who are into smaller lakes, Cardiff Lake is an intimate lake in the Haliburton Highlands - the lake is spring-fed and landlocked. This cottage is conveniently situated on a country road off Hwy 648 just outside of Wilberforce where there is a good size food store (Foodland), restaurant, service station, banking, LCBO and convenience store for all your cottaging needs. Bancroft is approximately 20 kilometres away and Haliburton is approximately 30 kilometres away from our cottage. There is a large deck with a propane barbecue and patio furniture. The property boasts a large grassy area with an outdoor fire pit and a small sandy beach and extra large dock with diving board, which is big enough for seating. The shoreline is a gradual entry into the water which has a sandy bottom. Perfect for families with small children. If you like to fish, our lake is stocked with bass & rainbow trout and there are many lakes in the area with good fishing. Our house rules: no smoking, no parties or events, pets permitted with additional pet fee. No smoking inside the cottage. Primary renter must be 30 or older
