Guest access Guests are allowed access to every part of the property except the garage and 1 locked water closet on the second level. Please enjoy! Other things to note Welcome to Flower Power! This guide will explain everything you need to know about how to get the best experience while staying here. Please, don't read this as a set of "terms and conditions", instead think of it as a "Flower Power for Dummies guide". We hope you enjoy your stay, and do not hesitate to contact us by e-mail/phone if you have any questions. My fiancée and I both have smart phones, however, sometimes we are out of town or work long hours. Access/General The house is blue and grey with white trim. If you are arriving after dark, look for the house with a light blue door and a flower wreath. The front door is to the left of the garage doors, and the entire driveway is yours to use. Please, no street parking. We have an external/street facing security camera system that we will view in case of emergencies, but obviously the home is completely private, with no cameras. The door is a pin code keyless entry system. The code is set to "XXXX" and will be active for the duration of your stay. Please let us know if the green light on the inside of the door knob is flashing, which indicates a low battery, and we will be sure to replace it. Our home offers standard light switches as well as lamps throughout. The home is heated and cooled by an electric HVAC system. The home is set to a programmed thermostat system, and controlled with a NEST thermostat. There is a NEST fire/smoke/co2 detector in the foyer that will detect your arrival and begin to heat or cool the unit when you arrive. Feel free to open up the windows for fresh air, but please be sure to close all windows when you are out for extended periods and after you depart. The home's water is heated with a tanked water heater located in the garage, which means you won't run out of hot water. We usually turn the water temperature up a few degrees in the winter, and down a few degrees in the summer. Although it is an unlimited system, it is not instant hot water. The water may need to run for 5-10 seconds before getting hot. Feel free to let us know if the water is too hot or cold. There is a DEDICATED 1TB/sec fiber internet connection to the home. The WiFi network is "XXXXXXXX" and the password is "XXXXXXX". The home was built with soundproofing and privacy in mind. The walls and ceiling were filled with noise isolating insulation, and the ceiling is suspended to minimize noise transfer. Please feel free to enjoy the TV and stereo or talk/sing/enjoy but please keep the neighbors in mind. Kitchen Enjoy your brand new Mega Capacity 31.5-cu ft Smart French Door Refrigerator with Dual Ice Maker and Water Dispenser (Fingerprint Resistant Stainless Steel) ENERGY STAR refrigerator. Our refrigerator was purchased and professionally installed in August of 2024. The kitchen features an electric stove/oven/range with controls on the top left and right hand side. Pots, pans, a baking sheet, knives, utensils, wine glasses and cooking trays are in the cupboards. The stove has many heat settings. The screen will show the actual oven temperature as it heats up. All tableware and cutlery in the home are dishwasher safe, so please leave any used plates, cutlery, cups in the dishwasher or sink when you depart. You are welcome to run the dishwasher during your stay. Dish washer detergent is located under the sink. It can be a little bit noisy, so we suggest not running it if you are relaxing in the adjacent living room. Please help yourself to the coffee, tea, salt, sugar, cooking spices, oil, and other condiments within the kitchen (depending on supplies, these items may vary). There is a Keurig coffee maker compatible with the coffee cups. The microwave has a built in ventilation fan, which vents air outside the suite. Please use the fan when cooking on the stove, as it helps keep the home smelling fresh. There is a standard garbage pail in the kitchen and all bathrooms. Please use the provided trash bags. We have a bar with a built in sink that offers seating for 6 people on high leather backed stools. We also have a dining room table that offers seating for 6. Bathroom (2.5 - half bath located on main level, 2 full baths located on second level) To manage humidity in the home while showering, please run the fan to vent air outside. Help yourself to the supplied shampoo and conditioner bottles, as well as hand soap and skin cream, towels, toilet paper, etc. Bedroom (3 - all bedrooms located on the second level) Each bedroom features a ceiling light, 2 nightstand lamps, freshly laundered linen, a wall mounted flat screen TV, ROKU channel remote and access with mounted remote control holder, 2 nightstands and a full closet with hangers. Our king bedroom/master bedroom suite located on the second floor features a king bed with a Serta comforter mattress and boxspring, the king bed features two drawers for extra storage, 2 nightstands, 2 nightstand table lamps, 1 large full body oval mirror, 6 pillows, 6 drawer extra large dresser, 1 luggage rack, 1 flat screen TV, 1 ROKU channel remote and access with mounted remote control holder, flower decor, private full bathroom with dual vanity sinks, drawers, hair dryer, garden tub, 2 person standing shower, commode, walk in closet, hangers. Our queen/secondary suite located on the second floor features a queen bed with a Serta comforter mattress and boxspring, 2 nightstands, 2 nightstand table lamps, 4 pillows, 6 drawer extra large dresser, 1 luggage rack, 1 flat screen TV mounted to the wall on a swivel mount, 1 ROKU channel remote and access with mounted remote control holder, flower decor, closet, hangers and 4 electronic charging ports built into both nightstands for convenient charging. Our twin/third suite located on the second floor features 2 twin beds with a Serta comforter mattress and boxspring, 2 nightstands, 2 nightstand table lamps, 4 pillows, 1 flat screen TV mounted to the wall on a tilted mount, 1 ROKU channel remote and access with mounted remote control holder, flower decor, closet, hangers and 4 electronic charging ports built into both nightstands for convenient charging. Laundry Room Our laundry room is located on the second level of the home, adjacent to the master bedroom for easy access. It is a large private room that has a door and can be closed. Our washer is a TurboWash 5.2-cu ft High Efficiency Stackable Steam Cycle Smart Front-Load Washer (Black Steel) ENERGY STAR. Our dryer is a TurboSteam 9-cu ft Stackable Steam Cycle Electric Dryer (Black Steel) ENERGY STAR. Both were purchased and professionally installed in August of 2024. After using the washing machine, please leave the washing machine door OPEN so we can avoid any possible mold/mildew build up. We provide a complimentary iron and ironing board also found in the laundry room. We also provide a small complimentary amount of laundry detergent and dryer sheets for our guests to use during their stay. Living Room The Television is a smart TV hooked up to an entertainment unit that's able to play netflix/youtube/hulu/prime etc. Each guest will need to log into their own streaming services. Our flat screen TV is mounted to the wall and is adjacent to the mounted TV remote control holder. It is located between two living room stands with flower decor (not for taking, not for playing with). We also offer 4 dark wooden TV dinner tray stands for our guests to use while they stay at Flower Power. When not in use, please do not lean these trays against any walls, as that will cause damage to the walls. Please lean them up against the ends of the couches or against the two stands with the flower decor next to the TV. We also offer two dark brown premium leather couches with seating comfortable for 6. These couches DO NOT RECLINE. We have removed the electric cords to deactivate the reclining features so the walls will not be damaged accidentally. There are two built in cup holders in one of the couches, and the other couch has 2 nightstands located on either side for drinks and snacks. Please use the Flower Power coasters under any glasses to avoid damaging the tables. Both nightstands are electronic and offer electronic outlets/plugs for easy access to charging for laptops/cellphones/etc. We also have one standing lamp for warm lighting at night as well as a storage coffee table for our guests to enjoy. Dining Room/Kitchen Combo Our dining room table sits in an open area between the living room and the kitchen. Our home is very open concept! Our dining room table sits 6 people comfortably and offers 4 high back chairs and one bench. Our table features a protective cover underneath the flower table cloth, both of which should be used at all times. You'll also enjoy optimal flower decor on the walls, table and electrical outlets. Dedicated Office Space Our dedicated office space is located next to the kitchen and beside the stairs leading up to the second level. We are offering one cushioned office chair on wheels and one large wooden desk with a storage hook. Please be careful not to push any electronics on the wall as this may accidentally cause damage. Garage Unfortunately, the garage is off limits to guests at this time and is only utilized by our cleaning crew. In the future we hope to turn this into a game room for our guests to enjoy! Please do not try to go into the garage or to break the electronic lock. Screened In Patio/Porch We offer our guests access to our backyard screened in porch complete with a rug, a cushioned and heavy duty couch, a cushioned and heavy duty chair and a glass top table. Our screened in porch also features a ceiling fan for added comfort on hot days. Please do not smoke within this screened in porch. Feel free to smoke on the outside of the property and please clean up all cigarette buds when finished smoking. This likely seems like a lot of information, but rest assured everything is set up to make sense, be simple and obvious. I hope you enjoy your stay at Flower Power!
