Designed for comfort and calm, the farmhouse offers everything you need for a restful getaway, from luxury linen and towels to all the small touches that make a stay unforgettable. The spacious stoep, complete with a large outdoor fireplace and a wood-fired hot tub, overlooks panoramic valley views, the perfect place to start your morning with a cup of coffee or end the day under a sky full of stars. Inside, you’ll find warm, welcoming spaces filled with soft light and thoughtful detail. The fully equipped kitchen and laundry room make longer stays effortless, while the dining and lounge areas invite you to gather, unwind, and enjoy the simplicity of farm life. The house sleeps four guests comfortably across two beautifully styled bedrooms and two bathrooms, giving everyone space to relax. Whether you’re celebrating something special or simply escaping the everyday, In The Valley is all about slowing down, sharing good food, soaking up the view, and reconnecting with what matters most. Feel free to explore the farm’s 600 hectares at your own pace - whether it’s walking, hiking, trail running, cycling, or trying your hand at bass fishing in our dam. Breathe in the quiet, take in the views, and enjoy the peaceful surroundings. If you’d like to cycle or fish, please remember to bring along your own bike and fishing rod. Other things to note While the house is listed for four guests, we’re happy to accommodate a fifth guest on request. Please note that we do not supply bedding or towels for the fifth guest. We’re listed as a self-catering farm stay - guests need to bring their own food and drinks. As a warm welcome, you’ll find homemade bread, fresh farm eggs, and peach jam waiting for you on arrival. Guests celebrating special occasions will also receive a complimentary bottle of bubbly. Insects are part of farm life and, while they’re not always around, we recommend bringing repellent if you’re prone to bites or allergies. We supply Doom for your convenience should any little visitors find their way inside.
