Wellness oasis on the Middle Rhine Valley - TEMBO with balcony

Welcome to the wellness oasis – Gästehaus Shimba 🌿 African flair, wellness & pure nature – in the middle of the Hunsrück, just a stone's throw from the beautiful Middle Rhine Valley. Our guest house Shimba (Swahili for "farm" or "animal stable") is your place to arrive, breathe and feel good. Here, African lifestyle meets rural tranquility – designed with a lot of love for detail. The space 🌿 Pure wellness & nature – in the middle of the Hunsrück, just a stone's throw from the beautiful Middle Rhine Valley. Our guest house Shimba (Swahili for "farm" or "animal stable") is your place to arrive, breathe and feel good. This is where African wildlife meets local coziness. 🐘 Room "Tembo" – Large, cozy & full of elephant flair "Tembo" is Swahili for elephant – and this room on the upper floor is just as generous: with its own balcony, magnificent views and plenty of space to feel good. You sleep in a comfortable 2 x 2 meter box spring bed, surrounded by lovingly selected pictures, sculptures and original works of art around the theme of elephants – sometimes colorful, sometimes charmingly funny. You will have a private bathroom in the room. A mini kitchen with fridge, toaster, microwave, coffee maker and kettle is in the room. There is also a real kitchen across the hall, with a washing machine, stove and sink. And outside? Pure nature awaits! Hiking, cycling or simply relaxing – and the Middle Rhine Valley with castles, wine tastings and boat trips is just a stone's throw away. Guest access There is a parking space right in front of the guest house. The upper floor has a small balcony at the entrance and offers seating for the upper smaller room. 🌍 And all around? Wilderness, expanse, wine & wonder Only 10 km as the crow flies to the Rhine – accessible through forests and fields Animal sightings right from the front door: deer, mouflons, wild boars & more Excursions to Eltz Castle, Geierlay suspension bridge, wine festivals & open-air concerts on the Loreley Host Ingo offers personal nature tours & wildlife observations on request Relaxation, adventure and aesthetics meet at the Shimba guest house. Ideal for nature lovers, individualists, romantics and explorers. Other things to note 🛁 Whirlpool & Sauna – your little break from everyday life 🌿✨ My small wellness area is a place to relax, unwind and enjoy. So that everyone feels completely comfortable and it stays clean, warm and cozy, you will find a transparent price overview and a few lovingly intended notes here. 🌞 Use The wellness area is generally at the disposal of all guests. Please let me know when you arrive or shortly before use – then I will be happy to prepare everything for you. 💶 Rates 🛁 Hot tub (max 3p) €30 for 1 hour Each additional hour or part thereof: €10 So that the hot tub is pleasantly warm, I ask that you let us know in time – it takes a very long time to heat up. Approximately 1.5 degrees per hour. 🔥 Panoramic barrel sauna (4 people max) Depending on the outside temperature, the sauna takes about 1 hour to heat up. The use costs 6 euros per hour it is switched on. Exclusive use In principle, every guest should be able to enjoy relaxation. However, depending on the number of visitors, I can rent it exclusively for 1-2 hours. In return, the following additional prices will be added. Sauna only (up to 2 hours): €15 Jacuzzi only (1 hour): €15 Entire wellness area (2 hours): 30€ 🍾 a bottle of sparkling wine goes to the house 📜 So that everyone feels comfortable A few small rules help keep it enjoyable for everyone: 🌿 General 🚿 Please shower briefly – so everything stays nicely clean. Please 🍹 use glass bottles with care. 🚫🍔 No food in the pool or sauna area. Please only 🚭 smoke outside. 🩳 Whether naked or with swimwear – everyone the way they like. Mutual respect is important. 🌙 In the evening and at night please have consideration for the other guests. The hot tub is generally intended for shared use (max 3 people at the same time). 🛁 Tub Please briefly register with me (Ingo). Max. 3 people at the same time. No oil, makeup, or hair color in the water. Please do not adjust the temperature yourself. After about 30 minutes of bubbling, take a small technical break. After use, please close the lid again and let us know briefly. Panoramic 🔥 sauna 4 people max at the same time. Please always put in a towel – this protects the wood. Do not place wet textiles on the benches. Please do not use the oven myself – I'm happy to help you. Please only be very careful and in small quantities to keep the wood dry.
