Welcome to Colorado Adventure Retreat! Nestled in the Rocky Mountains at an elevation of just under 9,000 ft, this 4 BR/3BA retreat was designed to maximize the views of the mountains. With 4 bedrooms, 2 living areas, a game room, a hot tub, and a sauna, nestled in the mountains, this house truly is an adventure retreat - a perfect blend of fun and relaxation. This house offers easy access to world-class hiking, fishing, ATV/UTV, state parks, casinos, Wolf Sanctuary, North Pole, & more. The space This home has 4 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, and 2 living areas. The main entrance, located off the driveway, is on the lower level. LOWER LEVEL -living area with wet bar -arcade room -bedroom #3 w/ queen bed + bunk beds -bedroom #4 with 2 twin beds -full bathroom with shower UPPER LEVEL -open concept living room, dining area, kitchen -bedroom #1 w/ king bed, walk-in closet, pack-n-play, en suite bathroom -bedroom #2 w/ king bed -additional full bathroom with shower/tub -laundry room w/ washer & dryer -door off the kitchen leads out to a spacious second-story deck with mountain views -door near laundry room leads out to sauna/hot tub area OUTDOOR -upper-level deck with Adirondack chairs facing the mountains, picnic table, gas BBQ grill -hot tub, sauna, giant "swingset" all face the mountains + additional flat woodchip area to play cornhole and ladder golf -Guests will have access to an outdoor shed that houses yard games, folding chairs, and trash bins -long dirt/gravel driveway with space for multiple vehicles We provide towels, linens, blankets, cookware, dishes, spices, a handful of Keurig coffee pods, dishwasher/dish soap, shower soap/shampoo/conditioner, hand soap, trash bags, two rolls of paper towels, three rolls of toilet paper per bathroom, and a handful of laundry pods. We have 2 Smart TVs on which you can log in to any of your favorite streaming platforms. Nearby Airports: -Colorado Springs Airport (55 min) -Denver International Airport (1 hour, 50 min) Other things to note IMPORTANT INFORMATION FIRES: Absolutely NO fires. Forest fires are a very serious and real threat in the dry Colorado climate. Making a fire will result in being asked to leave without a refund. It may also result in a huge fine during a fire ban. Smoking of any kind is not permitted anywhere inside the house, on the deck, or near the sauna/hot tub areas. Smoking is not allowed anywhere on the property when fire danger is high. Please smoke in your car or leave the neighborhood to do so if there is a fire ban or fire danger is high. WINTER CONDITIONS: All Wheel Drive (AWD) or 4 Wheel Drive vehicle is strongly recommended Nov through April if it has snowed. The driveway and roads leading to the house can be difficult to navigate in the snow/mud without proper preparedness. The last half mile to the house is an unpaved road. ELEVATION: The house is at just under 9,000 feet. Some people experience symptoms from the altitude (headache, sleepiness, dizziness, nausea, etc.). If you are coming from a lower elevation, we HIGHLY recommend giving yourself at least a day to acclimate in the Denver/Colorado Springs area. Staying super hydrated, having electrolytes, and avoiding alcohol can help prevent these symptoms. NEIGHBORS: While the neighborhood is spread out, we do have full-time resident neighbors who live nearby. Please be considerate and observe quiet hours from 9 PM to 7AM.
