Description

Welcome to our cozy 2-bedroom bungalow in South Broad Ripple (SoBro)! Built in 1915, this updated home blends vintage charm with modern amenities. Walk to restaurants, shops, or nightlife, and reach downtown Indianapolis in minutes. Relax on the front porch, enjoy the backyard fire pit, or take in seasonal views of our urban flower farm. Family-friendly, couple-ready, and great for business travelers, this bungalow is your ideal home base for exploring Indy like a local. The space Welcome to our 1915 bungalow in South Broad Ripple (SoBro), part of the historic Meridian Kessler neighborhood. This cozy 2-bedroom, 1-bath home combines vintage charm with modern updates, and behind the house you’ll find our fenced backyard and seasonal urban flower farm—a unique Indy experience you won’t find anywhere else. Depending on the season, you may catch rows of blooms from the porch or patio. Step inside to find a warm and inviting living room anchored by the original brick fireplace and hardwood floors. It’s the perfect place to relax after a day of exploring—whether that means streaming your favorite shows on the Roku TV, sinking into the couch, or pulling out a board game or puzzle from the cabinet for some family fun. French doors lead to the dining room, where a table for four is ideal for meals, remote work, or simply gathering together. A welcome table with our guest book and local recommendations will help you make the most of your stay. Continue through to the fully equipped kitchen, stocked with cookware, appliances, coffee options (drip and French press), and thoughtful basics like oil and spices. Off the kitchen, the newly remodeled bathroom features a spacious shower and fresh toiletries for your convenience. When it’s time to rest, the front bedroom offers a queen bed and small closet, while the back bedroom provides a queen bed, built-in dresser, walk-in closet, and cozy reading nook. Both bedrooms feature comfortable linens, extra blankets, and room-darkening shades to ensure a restful night. Outdoor spaces are a highlight here. Sip coffee on the front porch and watch the neighborhood go by, or step out to the backyard patio with seating for four around a fire pit. It’s a great spot to relax in the evening. You can even enjoy views of the flower farm when it is in bloom. In the basement, you’ll also find complimentary laundry with washer and dryer. For families, we provide children’s dinnerware and plenty of games. For business travelers, reliable Wi-Fi and a comfortable dining table make working from home easy. And for everyone, the location is hard to beat—walk to SoBro dining, coffee shops, and local bars, or hop in the car for a quick drive to Broad Ripple Village, Butler University, the Indiana State Fair Grounds, downtown Indy, Lucas Oil Stadium, the Convention Center, or the Children’s Museum. Free street parking is available, and although a spot directly in front may not always be available there is almost always one just a few spots away; a bus stop is just a block away, and rideshares are plentiful. Our bungalow offers a little bit of everything: historic character, modern comfort, thoughtful touches, and the rare bonus of an urban flower farm right outside your back door. Whether you’re visiting Indianapolis for family, fun, or business, we hope you’ll feel right at home here. In season, guests may even have the chance to cut a bouquet from our flower farm — a one-of-a-kind Indy experience. Guest access You will have access to the entire house. However, the storage closet in the basement is not available for guest use. We are starting an urban flower farm at the back of the property. If you see us out there working, please feel free to come out and say hello. However, if we’re not there, we ask you do not enter for safety reasons. Other things to note Children are welcome guests. However, the home is not childproof. We do have a child gate available but are not responsible for its use or any malfunction. It is the guests' responsibility to keep children safe at all times. Our home is also not wheelchair accessible. Entry into the home requires walking up a few steps. Registration Details SRP-000429
