Our Riad is privatized and rented exclusively with its staff. You'll enjoy the privacy of a Riad ideally located in the heart of the Medina. A peaceful oasis to live in true Marrakechi away from mass tourism but close to major sites of interest. With family or friends, you can enjoy the heated pool, the coolness of the patio as well as curling up on the sofas, having a drink around the pool or contemplate the Atlas Mountains from our sublime terrace. The space Riad Ilym is located in a popular area, a 5-minute walk from the famous Jemaa el-Fnaa Square and Bahia Palace. Recently renovated, this riad on a human scale, with an area of 350 m2, offers you an enchanting interlude of calm and pleasure in the heart of the hectic alleys of the Red City. This riad is also our story, that of a desire to share our love for this country with a thousand-year-old culture and ancestral and prestigious dynasties that have shaped the destiny of this incredible Kingdom. Special attention has been paid to each object, paintings that showcase the craftsmanship and know-how of Moroccan artisans. OUR ROOMS The Riad has 5 bedrooms with individual reversible air conditioning and private bathrooms with evocative names: Le Petit Prince, Mowani, El Glaoui, Sirocco and Mirage. Special care has been taken in the decoration of each with objects found and brought back during our travels. For your comfort, quality bedding and SIGNATURE linens by Valerie Barkowski as well as bathrobes are at your disposal. OUR CHEF We invite you to taste the delicious dishes of the cook, who will prepare for recipes for you with the oriental and exquisite flavors of Moroccan cuisine, couscous, various tajines, skewers, pastillas, oriental pastries, etc... You will then be served according to your wishes, for breakfast or dinner, in the patio, dining room or on the shaded terrace. Fresh homemade fruit juices can be served by the pool. Breakfasts included in the riad rate prepared daily for you. Dinner: Order the day before for the next day, to be paid on site. The Riad is not equipped with a payment terminal. We accept payments in Moroccan dirhams (MAD), Euros and USD. Guest access Douar Graoua parking is only a few minutes' walk from the riad. Hassan, our driver, will take care of your transfers on request (with surcharge). Parking on reservation at the rate of €4/day, 5-minute walk from the riad. Other things to note We ask that you respect the peace and quiet of the neighborhood. Parties, EVJF are strictly forbidden in our riad. The terrace jacuzzi does not have a heat pump unlike the main patio pool. 💰A deposit of 500 Euros will be requested on the day of your arrival ( check, Euros or Moroccan dirhams). It will be returned to you on the day you leave. 💰The tourist tax is to be paid on site in Moroccan dirhams corresponding to 30 dirhams/person/day (€3). All your consumption during your stay is to be paid on-site in local currency, euros or USD.
