Join us for a stay in our historically grand 1835 home, perfectly located in the heart of Downtown Ithaca. Everything you’re looking for is only a few walkable blocks away: Moosewood & shopping at Dewitt Mall – 1 block. Shopping & Events in Ithaca Commons – 2 blocks. Restaurant Row on Aurora Street – 3 blocks. Ithaca Farmers Market – 1 mile. If you're visiting students, Cornell University and Ithaca College are both nearby. The space **☆☆ BEDROOM ☆☆** A cozy, simply appointed bedroom provides the perfect retreat after a day of adventure. A comfortable Queen-sized bed with power plugs and USB connections on each bedside table. Large antique armoire for hanging clothing also provides extra blankets, sheets and pillows for your stay. **☆☆ BATHROOM ☆☆** The bedroom ensuite has plenty of space to prepare for the day. You'll find basic amenities including shampoo, conditioner, body wash, lotion, air freshener and a hair dryer with attachments. A first aid kit and miscellaneous extras including a clothing steamer can be found in the linen closet. This newer renovated bathroom also has heated floors and an overhead heat fan. **☆☆ KITCHENETTE & LIVING AREA ☆☆** The main living space features a sofa and chair adjacent to an open kitchenette with butcher block countertop. In the morning, enjoy a hot cup of coffee from the coffee station, offering a traditional pot, single K-cup, or electric kettle. Fresh ground coffee, hot chocolate, assorted teas, K cups, assorted sweeteners, and creamers are all provided. Take that coffee on the go for a walk around town or relax at the bistro table with two chairs next to the large, bright window. The living room is equipped with a Smart TV, so you won't miss out on your favorite shows. We provide a wine opener and glasses, along with ceramic coffee mugs for in home use. We've also got you covered with a variety of essentials, including paper towels and garbage bags, a sponge, dish soap, hand soap and cleaning wipes. **☆☆ PARKING & OUTDOOR SPACE ☆☆** Parking is a breeze with your own guest driveway with space for two cars. There is also metered street parking in abundance right in front of the house, free M-Sa after 6pm and all at Sunday. The entry porch has two chairs and a small table for sitting outside and relaxing during the nice weather months. It’s a great place to enjoy your treats from the ice cream shop next door! Guest access The space is part of our main home, but there are no shared spaces. Guests have their own porch, entrance, living area, kitchenette, bedroom and bathroom. All doors to the main house are closed and locked. Other things to note **☆☆ LATE CHECKOUT POLICY ☆☆** Checkout time is 10 AM. We also know that everyone’s travel schedule is different. Please request a complimentary late checkout as late as NOON through the app and we will do our best to accommodate, depending on other bookings and cleaning schedules. Any late departures after NOON will be charged at half the rate of the next night, as our dedicated cleaners need to prepare the house for the next guest promptly. If you simply require us to store your bags for you until you are leaving later in the day, we can typically accommodate your request - just ask! **☆☆ EARLY CHECK IN POLICY ☆☆** Standard Check In time is 3 PM. As this suite is in our home and entirely cleaned and managed by the two of us, we cannot promise an early check in time. Please let us know you will be arriving early, we will alert you as soon as the suite is ready for you. We are also happy to have to park in the driveway upon your early arrival while waiting for check in.
