Looking for a spot during a Cubs game or a weekend in the city? YOU FOUND IT! Clean, lots of sunlight, newly renovated 2b near restaurants & bars, in beautiful Irving/Horner Park (and straight 15min shot to Wrigley by bus or free shuttle!). Fully stocked kitchen with new stainless steel appliances, in-unit laundry, TV with included streaming services, and internet. Huge shared yard (dogs welcome!), AND a private front porch! This is a perfect spot for a quiet stay, or for a fun Chicago weekend! The space This apartment has a large living room, two bedrooms - one queen bed, one full bed (very comfortable, new mattresses!), and a big kitchen with an eat-at peninsula. Bathroom is fresh and clean with a new large soaking bathtub and a shower (with solid water pressure!). Bonus of in-unit laundry. The home is on a large extra wide lot so there is a huge shared yard, large patio and with the extra wide lot, sunlight pours in every window. Short distance to Irving Park and Addison Busses, 15min walk to the train. Guest access Unit has 24 hour access. We have a shared front door to the 2-unit building, and guests will be provided a unique passcode to unlock the front door, and the specific 2nd floor unit. The second floor deck is exclusively for guests during your stay and is not shared with the 1st floor unit. The backyard IS shared, but guests can use the grill, patio & table, or yard for games or general hangout with notice to the landlord. The basement, garage, and attic are off limits to guests. Other things to note We are kid-friendly and have a pack and play, toys and books, and a highchair on site when/if needed. Please mention any babies/children when booking so we can have these items ready for you. We also have a great babysitter service referral if you want a date night while here! The bedrooms sleep 4 adults, but we have a queen air mattress and/or a couch for larger groups if needed -- the number of guests must be clarified before confirming. Max 6 guests. Gatherings (anyone coming that is not listed as staying in the unit) must be cleared with the landlord prior to party-time. We love a good friend-filled hangout, but we also love our neighbors, our home, and need to trust you won't wreck our space or disrupt our neighbors. Please be cool. We are happy to be as accommodating as possible but we ask that you respect our space as if it were your own. Our check out list is not extensive, BUT please respect our space and clean up after yourself so we can keep our cleaning fee low.
