Fenced-in forest cabin with veranda, air conditioning, and outdoor swimming pool

Welcome to Boshuisje de Hideout, a cozy place in the woods near IJhorst, with a fully fenced garden with lots of privacy and a lovely veranda. Enjoy the sounds of the birds and the rustling wind through the trees, and walk straight from the cottage with your dog into the woods. Extensive hiking and cycling trails make this a perfect base for anyone who wants to enjoy nature. With the presence of a playground, outdoor swimming pool (May 1 - September 15) and brasserie, it is also very suitable for families! The space Boshuisje de Hideout is a detached chalet with a large covered porch in a quiet area of recreation park de Vossenburcht. The cottage is suitable for up to 4 people and a baby; the dog is also welcome. Living Room Inside, you will find a cozy living room with a spacious sitting area (with sofa and armchair) and a dining table. The French doors give access to the veranda overlooking the fully fenced garden, which is frequently visited by birds. The living room has air conditioning and a gas heater for ambient heating on colder days. Want to read a book or play a game? Various books and games are waiting for you. Kitchen The open kitchen is well equipped with a dishwasher, gas hob, fridge-freezer, a Nespresso coffee machine, delicious coffee and a milk frother for a delicious cappuccino or latte, a kettle and delicious teas. There is also a large air fryer, toaster, hand blender and all sorts of other convenient kitchen utensils to make your stay as relaxing as possible. Bedrooms & beds There are two bedrooms with made beds (1 double bed 160 x 200 and 2 single beds 70 x 200), with fine mattresses, pillows and duvets. Both bedrooms have air conditioning, so you can sleep well even during warm nights. Bathroom & towels The spacious bathroom has a shower, a modern sink, an extra towel rack and a toilet. Shampoo, conditioner and shower gel are provided, and towels have also been thought of. Garden/veranda Outside, there is a large porch with a spacious lounge area and an outdoor table with chairs. Because the veranda is covered, you can still be outside in less favorable weather and enjoy the chirping of the birds and the rustling of the wind in the trees. In the evening, the veranda is cozily lit and is the ideal place to relax after a busy day. In a corner of the garden, you can also sit for a while; there are two armchairs waiting for you. The garden is fully enclosed, which is nice with small children or the dog. The cottage is decorated with a lot of love and attention and offers everything for a comfortable stay, so you can immediately enjoy the vacation feeling. Parking There is a free parking space available at the cottage. Additional cars can be parked for free in the park's general parking lot. Facilities There are many extras at the park, especially during the high season. The heated outdoor swimming pool is open from May 1 to September 15, and the snack corner and brasserie therefore have longer opening hours. Throughout the year, there is a spacious playground with various equipment and a covered area. There is also a launderette. Surroundings From the cottage, you can walk right out of the park and into the woods. About 3.5 km away is a swimming lake, the Zwarte Dennen, a beautiful area for walking, swimming and biking. The park rents out all kinds of bicycles, with or without child seats. E-bikes are also offered, but you need a driver's license for these. A fantastic dog run area has been created by Staatsbosbeheer, just 10 minutes away by car, where dogs can run, swim and romp freely all year round. Do you want a day at the beach? You can do that at Nijstad beach near Hoogeveen, which is fifteen minutes away. Swimming, relaxing, paddle boarding or having a drink, everything is possible. Infants A camping bed can be provided free of charge on request, and a high chair is available. Dogs Dogs are welcome at the Hideout. If you want to come with more than 1 dog, please discuss this with us. The garden is fully enclosed; dogs must be kept on a leash in the park (outside the garden). Guest access The entire cottage, garden and shed are at your disposal. Check-in and check-out are contactless via a lockbox.
