Dining room with wood-burning fireplace, dining table and kitchenette. ATTENTION: There is NO fully equipped kitchen! But no worries – simple dishes can be prepared or warmed up in the microwave with grill function. A raclette and a fondue set are also on your disposal – perfect for cozy evenings. To wash dishes, you have to use the sink in the bathroom – a little unusual, but it usually works smoothly. Kettle and coffee machine are also there. The dining room is heated by an elegant wood-burning stove that allows you to enjoy the warmth of living. There is also a stylish electric fireplace that adds added charm and warmth. There is no central heating in the house, hot water is always available thanks to electric water heater. Guest access There is plenty of space around the house, a barbecue and a fire bowl, a large table with benches, folding chairs. For the oven and barbecue we provide you with firewood and if necessary we will help you to light the fire. EXTRA for you: Tourist tax of the municipality per adult above 16 years is 4 CHF per day, under 16 - 2 CHF. We take care of this for them, is included in the price. THE LOCATION of the house is a big plus: only 8 km from Interlaken and 35 km from Bern, which allows easy access to the main tourist centers. We live in a place of power, "GENIUS LOCI", and we are happy to share our energy with you. THE BUS STOP is only 5 minutes walking. Bus 21 runs every hour to Interlaken (journey time: 15 minutes) and Thun (journey time: 40 minutes), in winter from 7am to 7pm and in summer until 23:00. A taxi from Interlaken costs about CHF 30. You can also swim in the lake in 5 minutes or board a boat at the JETTY and take a ride on Lake Thun. We provide our guests with a tour pass that entitles them to free rides in the area of Interlaken, as well as discounts on many excursions, such as the Beatus Caves, which can be reached in 30 minutes on foot. 30 kilometers of hiking trails around the house make it an ideal place for those who want to be in nature.
