In the heart of Courmayeur, in the ancient hamlet of La Saxe, we decided to open the doors of our home to all travelers who love the Aosta Valley and in particular Courmayeur, in a cozy and intimate space that wants to recreate the feelings of peace, calm and relaxation that you experience walking in the suggestive mountain villages immersed in green valleys, high peaks and fairytale forests. Perfect for a romantic getaway and for small families! Welcome! The space The Maison de Gabrielle is a characteristic mountain house located in the center of Courmayeur, located on the ground floor of a typical Aosta Valley building decorated with mountain taste. The apartment opens directly into the open-plan living area, consisting of a large living room and a semi-independent equipped kitchen. From here you can access the bathroom (equipped with a washer-dryer) and the double bedroom. Staying in the Maison de Gabrielle, you will be welcomed in a cozy and intimate space, which will allow you to enjoy the wonders of one of the historical capitals of mountaineering and mountain hiking, as well as one of the most important meeting points for young people from all over Italy and beyond. The accommodation can accommodate up to 3 people and is perfect for welcoming couples on a romantic getaway attracted by the ski slopes and mountain trips or who are planning a vacation between spas, fun and lightheartedness or for families with a child. You can use our large garage located a short distance away to park and our cellar to store skis and boots! Guest access As hosts, we believe that hospitality is a fundamental part of your stay, and we aim to provide you with the best possible service. For this reason, even though we would like to welcome you all in person, we have decided to guarantee you the possibility of accessing the accommodation in total autonomy through the self check-in service. The accommodation is in fact equipped with automated access that will allow you to arrive comfortably whenever you want, from 3:00 p.m. onwards, without having to respect a specific and binding time slot. After sending us the necessary check-in details, you will receive instructions and a code to open the lockbox where you will find the keys to the front door. Other things to note As climate change is a global issue that affects every citizen, we hosts are actively committed to fighting waste and pollution every day, and we would like our guests to have the same care and dedication. For this reason, we have opted for a series of Green solutions to reduce the use and waste of plastic. Starting with separate collection, we decided to give up any disposable and plastic packaging, replacing them with reusable and environmentally friendly materials. We also invite our customers, always respecting the environment, to turn off electronic devices (appliances, lights, sockets...) when leaving the facility. Bed linen (cotton sheets, top-quality bedspreads and duvets and two pillows per person) and bathroom linen (towels, bidet, towels and shower mats) are provided by us. The accommodation tax is not included in the price indicated on Airbnb. For the safety of our guests, the entire accommodation is sanitized and disinfected to the highest standards and with products recommended by the Ministry of Health. The interventions are carried out before each check-in and provide, as per specific protocols, for the thorough cleaning and disinfection of each surface.
