A rustic stay option for free-spirited travels! Tucked into the lush flora of Mahayana is our Eclectic Treehouse. The Treehouse offers a unique way to experience the beauty of Tulum beach and the Mahayana property. The Treehouse is crafted with natural materials amidst a canopy of tropical palms and is designed for minimalist and adventurous guests looking for a humble way to connect with the beach and the sea in a central location. Must not be noise sensitive. The space Guests will love the central location close to restaurants and shops and the incredible beach access. The Eclectic Treehouse is for traveler's who can embrace romantic charm and a rustic travel experience. The Treehouse includes organic toiletries made with sacred Mayan honey, a private bathroom, and shower plus towels and linens, and a very basic kitchen. Please note the Treehouse embraces the sounds of the community that surrounds us. The walls are built with slender tree trunks that have become a trademark of local architecture in Tulum but they are permeable and you hear urban sound from the beach road. The Treehouse is not suitable for light sleepers or sound-sensitive guests. For a more peaceful stay, we suggest our Casa Gaia option which is right by the sea. Guest access Enjoy full use of the Mahayana property including stunning private Tulum beachfront at KM8 (beside Lula Wellness Studio) and the seaside pool. Stand-up paddleboards, sea kayaks, boogie boards, and an outdoor shower are also available for you to use. Other things to note The Mahayana beach and property are for GUESTS ONLY and the property is gated from the road and open to the sea. The Treehouse shares the Mahayana with 4 more luxury beach Villa options. Treehouse guests must not be sound sensitive due to the construction style and the location on the property. The bed is in a sleeping loft area and guests cannot fully stand in this area. There is a small ladder to access the bed. Not suitable for young children. For a more peaceful experience we recommend our Casa Gaia seaside bungalow where all you will hear is the sea.
